sounds like a turbo gasket leak to me! had a similar problem on my old silvia wasn't overly expensive to fix but wasn't exactly cheap! get all the gaskets changed ie, manifold, dumpipe/flange better to be safe then sorry -

mate i wouldnt send my car to a detailer if i were u i used to work for one in ringwood. they will just cover ur car in degreaser engine bay included then soak it in silicon spray! give it a super fast polish like im talking whole car in about 10mins, drown the interior with armour all and charge you $300 for about a total of 45mins work. better off to spend the day doin it urself

dude i dont think that a series one front bar looks diff to mine.

i got a GFB hybrid they sound cool not massivley loud just a nice woosh and cos it 50/50 no backfire or stalling at low rpm, i highly recomend.
