  1. Just putting the call out, I need to launch a small website and i am on the hunt for some cheap webspace and a domain name. Any web gurus on here? What are reasonable costs I can expect to pay? Can anyone steer me in the right direction? Thanks!
  2. Great effort Martin - the videos are tops!
  3. Definantly a fun event! I was a bit worried going into it that my car would be too underpowered to have much fun, but i was aided by possibly the worst rear tyres in existance and i had a ripper of a time! There were some impressive cars and drivers getting around and the atmosphere was fun and relaxed which made it great. Thanks to all who put in and helped!
  4. Do i need to purchase the qstarz BT-Q1000 as mentioned, or will the BT-Q818 do? They are both listed as 1hz default, but up to 5hz update rate. Will the software still work with the 818? and if so what's the benefit of going the 1000?
  5. Was a great day, Just glad my car kept on keeping on without too many hiccups... It was dissapointing some of the other datsuns didn't get through scrutineering considering they had both raced before with the same setup, but what can you do.. I don't suppose anyone has any pics of the datsuns? I think i saw someone with a camera on turn 2 in the wet, and i'd love to see the photos
  6. Well i'll be there flogging the old 180b for all its worth - can't wait if i can do as well at sandown as i did at the dyno day i'm at least going to come home with some free car care goodies haha :laughing-smiley-014:
  7. Well i'm officially hooked! I had an absolute ball in the underpowered 180b, and surprised myself with how well it was handling in its current spec I can't wait to make a few changes and have another go at it.. Every time i went out for some laps i shaved off some more time, i was beginning to work out how hard i could push the road tyres and was gradually working out the best line for most of the corners, but there is improvement to be made all round - I just wish i got some more track time! With that said, i was more than happy with a 2:16 for my first outing for the car, and my first time racing at phillip island.. The best part was that i was already having the time of my life in a 50rwkw datsun, so any changes i make to it from now on should keep making it more fun! i can only go forwards from here Well done Ryan, 1.55 is certainly impressive! You definantly put some higher $$ higher power cars to shame - priceless!
