About the flickering that was happening the other night. I've checked all the connections and its all fine and I used cable ties to hold almost everything in place, so I don't think there's any short circuiting.. I then checked the battery water and noticed that it was very low - so I think it's that. Just topped up the water tonight It only happened during one trip a few nights ago when the car was idle and when I was slowing down. Since then haven't come across it doing the same thing.. so hopefully it was just the water level in the battery. But will see how it goes now.. thanks everyone for trying to help

i put the relay harness in when i installed my hid kit.. i connected the positive to the battery and earthed the negative to the body of the car. been driving around for a few days now, but just last night i started noticing the lights start to flicker going brighter/darker sometimes? anyone know why its flickering even with the relay harness on?

Adzmax, do u mean the little silver box that is attached to the headlight? both headlights have them. so i think i just need the wiring...

my r34 got the xenons taken out when it was complied. ive managed to to obtain a xenon headlight set.. but no wires would anyone know how much the wiring for the xenons will cost? i think it used to have xenons on it when it was in japan, cos its got that level swtich inside the car... but im quite sure that the wiring was all taken out when the standard halogen headlights were put in.

does famous have 3rd party insurance at all?

hrmmm... car insurance is quite a problem. I've had my car for about a month now... and still no insurance. It's a non-turbo r34. i thought that non-turbo was easier n cheaper for insurance.. but obviously not. Most places would insure under my dad, but once i tell them i may be driving(19yr old) 'if i was required to' they reject. and other places like famous are quite expensive.. i got quoted 3k. i thought it'd be alot cheaper... esp for a non-turbo car. Now, i might even consider selling the car and getting something simple for a few years.. lol btw. does anyone know whether famous does 3rd party?

you got the autowatch blue series..... i need an alarm for my car.. was thinking of autowatch or laserline both ~$400 how much are u thinking of selling yours for? why do u want to change alarm for anyways?

I appreciate you guys telling me what you think. I really need help because i don't know whether I'm being ripped off, reason being that i don't have alot of spare money lying around. I thought that the price was an alright price seeing as though I've seen turbo ones for around 35-39k The guy's telling me selling it for $28,750 they won't make much money from it cos they bought the car for 26-27k? and putting the kit on cost around 2k... The car's got full c-west body kit. But i think the price they got it for would be less than that? Also, he rang me the other day telling me there were people looking at the car and whether i was still interested, if so i needed to make a deposit. And that there was this guy who kept bugging him about the car, but he kept saying he was waiting for me to make a decision. I told him I've only got 27k and it'll take me a little longer to get the rest, but he's saying that i can pay what i have, drive away with the car and pay the rest later. Problem is I'm doubting what they say is true, perhaps trying to make me rush? I would much prefer a turbo one, but I'm thinking running costs and insurance would be cheaper, hopefully?

I am currently thinking of buying a non-turbo R34(10/98) for $28,750 I'm not sure whether this is a good price or expensive. would anyone know the approximate price of R34 non-turbos?
