I'd think the actual station would be causing a bad batch of fuel... not the brand of fuel. But yeah, just my opinion... I don't have much knowledge in the industry. My big willy is all that counts.

Use what the manual recommends. Higher octane rating doesn't mean more power, it means the fuel is more resistant to being ignited. So putting like 98ron fuel and octane booster into an old R31 is just going to make your car a son of a bitch to get started and missfire or something. I wouldn't bother wasting money on BP Ultimate with a normal car just because it has detergent in it.

Oh and check over all the little black hoses as well and make sure they are all connected properly. Could be a vacuum leak or something.

Do you have an aftermarket atmospheric blow off valve? Put the stock one back on and your problem is fixed. Or try cleaning the AAC(Auxiliary Air Control) valve... it bypasses some air through when your foot is off the throttle. And maybe clean your air flow meter with some electrical contact cleaner. There is a tutorial on how to clean the AAC valve in the DIY section of the forum, just search.

RB30? Probably isnt tuned for 98. Don't use 98 if you're not tuned for it, you get no gains at all.

I doubt they are lighter, GTR & GTST boot lids probably come from the exact same mould or whatever. They are a direct fit between the gtr and gtst though, same loom plugs. GTR spoilers have extra bolts though, thus the boot lids have a few extra holes.

If I was on my P plates I would be raging right now. But since I'm not. Do it. Less newbs posting on performance sites about getting a yellow sticker. And less chance of kids racing their fag friends into a tree, killing 16 year old girlfriends. Sure, even kids in a little 4 cyl Corrola will race. But I'm sure they're going to get bored and stop racing after 20 seconds when they've finally hit 80kph and not 200kph in a V8. Things are going to happen faster in a performance car, and your driving experience is going to help you not fail when shit hits the fan.
