  1. Yeah mate a bit of camber and some better boost response and i reckon i could shave about 2 secs off my time, we'll see at the next one
  2. yeah i realise this i was just sh1t stirring the fact there fastest club member was a piston powered car considering its a rotory forum? 1, evo 2, gtr 3, gtr 4, rx7 5, rx7, yeah i'm gonna say the gtrs have it over the rx7s this round. as for the car classes, i would be interested to see how the classes are set and why my full street R34 GTR is in the same class as duncans race R32 GTR? if F means not involved then someone needs to change my class as i have said right from the start i wanted to put of the comp,
  3. love your work Kory, the action shots are awsome, i might have to actually buy the dvd its to bad that renew had to use a piston engine to take the win
  4. i have a mate who is considering bringing his PBR Clubman (1.9ltr 20v) to the next one two, so the way its going we'll have a group full of them, bring on the radical, i've being waiting to see i of this going. had a ball all day and can't wait for the next one
  5. lol yeah i thought that might be it, cheers to both of you for the nice comments, hopefully i can get it to go as fast as it looks again thats a great photo to bad the gopro was on the car for that pic
  6. yeah thats me, great photo, sorry whats prOn
  7. interested in nismo sway bars, dimensions pics and location
  8. i did say 1.10 to?, i had hardly any brakes and crap tyres, both are getting fixed for wakie, and was driving like a pusssy!!!
  9. i bleed the brakes after the first session in the main shed (love knowing the guys at EC)and didn't help 5 laps and then nothing i had my street pads in as work took longer than expected and i didn't get a chance to change them, a mistake i'm not going to make for wakefield, changing them this weekend with the project MUs and replacing fluid with the wilwood 570 stuff. the discs are a bit choped up now so will need replacing soon, on with the 6 piston APs and 372mm discs luckily i was braking early just incase which gave me a bit extra time and proble the only reason i made it through, more arse than class i'd say
  10. night driving was freaky, you would find yourself hard on the brakes without been able to see the corner. In the last session i was doing 240kmph as i went passed the 200m marker heading for turn one, went for the brakes and the pedal hit the floor and i had no idea when the corner was,wow what a rush The dc5 went to hot into turn 9 overshot it got on the grass and couldn't stop, hit the wall straight on bring the front of the car level with the strut towers, hope the driver is ok
  11. na where just good boy scoutts, where just well (better) prepaired after the run last night, 1.56.1 @ EC, i'll change my est time to 1.09-1.10
  12. i'm sorry
  13. yeah was a good night even tho i only managed a 1.56.1 , was good to meet all the guys and girl from SAU that went out tonight, its a shame about the honda (hit straight on to a concreate wall at turn 9)and hope the driver is ok,
  14. you were right got the L2s for nother civil liecence was all they needed
  15. you want to drive a truck around and see how stupid people get to get around you, it amazes me want some people think is ok for them to do or just to ignorant to know better, Taipan is located next to a mates work at eastern creek, so we see lots of them around my area, lots and lots of them
  16. fair call, may i ask why you prefere unmaked ? gotta say as much as i would hate to do what you and see what you have to see,$100,000K to cruise around in a new F6 all day would be awsome, just not dealing with w4nk3rs all day
  17. i have friends that don't know the difference (mostly female and not australian) so it slows then down for a second and geuss what off they go again, where a marked car they slow down and don't speed off again and by having more on the road the chances are they would drive upto more police cars they get caught by unmarked cars and cars hiding behind tree so you can't see them till its to late, which i see every day,or them standing behind parked truck or in bushes and there cars tucked away so it can't be seen
  18. ok so what your saying is everyone you know speeds until they see a "new holden or ford commodore" and then they slow down. why? 100% of people that drive know what a marked police car is and 100% of people that drive at least look at there speedo and slow down if they have creeped over the limit when they see a marked police car, how many do you think know the difference between HWP and GD or what a "new falcon or commodore" is or the fact they could be a undercover police car, so which do you think is a better deterrent something everyone knows or something most people know. and how much do you think they spent on all the cars they have so you will think any falcon or comodre could be a police car, cost nothing yeah right. "any where any time" what a load of sh!t, while everyone is still learning about "any where any time " we still have people dieing on the roads, where if the visual deterent of a marked car was out and about more people would slow down and there fore get where they are going. don't get me wrong i respect the police and what they do and your right undercover cars slow down people, who know what they are. Oh as the 30 points thing goes i have no dears eyes how it works nor do i care, it was something told to me by someone i had no reason to believe was lying to me and i can't remeber why i even typed it. given that how many offences would carry 6 points and how many would carry 1 and everthing inbetween, now if there is a quoter or not i don't know but as you said there is a points system which makes me wonder why if there is no difference in how many offences are handed out. i still say the only way to not get caught is not speed, if you speed and get caught don't winge
  19. the CA from my understanding is basicly that a CA18 is a RB26 with two cylinders cut off
  20. they also can out as a 2ltr na yeah sorry, too. I just read the first post properly
  21. LIZ, i found a forum with the entry details and it had liecence requirements L2NS or higher, so i'm quessing cause it's a timed event/challenge and not a normal trackday maybe it needs a higher level of insurence, either way i think better to have and not need as i'm going to need a liecence wakefield anyway Eric welcome aboard the more skylines the better
  22. how did you wire up walbro? when i put one of these on my car we had same problem and found fuel pressure was dropping when coming on boost, i ran a 10g wire from back of alternator through 20amp fuse and to a 20amp relay switched on by factory fuel power feed and no more fuel issues
  23. perfect the white ones on my 32 ( in avatar) are 18 x 9 + 22 and with 265 35 18 bridgestone GIIIs they fit perfect, i had to get gaurds rolled for 265 35 18 re55s? so 245 40 18s would be ideal
  24. i need to get a liecence, event requires a L2NS or higher, doesn't mention AASA, but does say i can get a CAMS day liecence for $25 at the event, i'm going to try and get a L2S liecence done ( temp section at least ) so then i'll have it for wakefield, if not able to get it signed then i'll just do the day liecence should be fun and i get to have a run in the r34 before wakefield so i'll see you guys there Michael
