what mods has your car already got, dyno it and see what it is doing, my GTR was dynoed at 140rwkw with HKS cat back and pods the week after i got it, replaced the compliance cat with a 3" high flow and removed the restrictor and came up with 205 awkw.
Nothing looks tougher than a black gtr, nice ride bro
H ) 1200 is abit high, on my gtr the idle control is under the middle of the plenum, there is a flat screw driver screw go 1/4 turn at a time give rev let settle should do the trick, if not got a gasket leak
I ) Nice rims what size are the tyres on them if they are smaller then fac will put out speedo ( reading faster than doing will make the odo clock up quicker ) 245/45/18 i think are fac the 34 check rolling diameter at local tyre shop.
I got that chance when i caught someone braking into my truck for the second time and the police not been able or wanting to do any thing the first time one wasn't going done that track again i just knock him out for 15mins from one punch after he turned to face me, 7 years of kick boxing finaly can in handy
Its hard to measure and probly a last resort usely only done when every thing else has checked out, like fork is not split, bearing is right and put in properly, hydrolics are good and working fine then it might be the spacer and is best to take to a pro with experince on GTRs or trail and error and a bit of guestimating
when you go to far with the machining on the flywheel the pressure plate moves in to and moves away from the fork to fix it you put a slightly thicker washer under the pivet ball where it screws into the gearbox
Starting the GTR for first time in nearly two months and the battery was completly dead had to get new one, was just wondering if the fc keeps it last tune or does it have to be done again as im only taking it over for a respray quote then putting it away again
Have got the right thrust brearing, I think with my single plates they machined the flywheel flat ( removing the 0.5mm step ) for the excedy clutch plate
I've got a 93 gtr which is my daily drive and has been since i brought it over 5 years ago, I service it every 5000 kms and have not had to many problems due to daily driving( rebuilt alternater ) other then that its just wearable parts like clutchs ( 5 ), tyres, brakes etc. Track use on the other hand 2 engines ( 1 my fault, 1 unknown).
Like Djr81 said a good R32 GTR well be the best and most exciting car you well ever own for that price range.
When you dropped the exh did you drop the cat aswell ?
Does the boost stay up in the high rev range ?
I had some thing like that with the GTR the exh didn't sound right and felt flat and was losing boost turned out to be the cat.
Yeah on the GTR that line goes to the hydraulic pump which sits on top of the diff cradle that runs the 4WD, removal will require rebleeding of the system which is not to hard, you'll have to get more fluid from nissan as it runs a special auto fluid, the other plug im fairly sure is for the neutral sensor.
I've had 'Mag wheel repairs' do my SSR rims a couple of times and they do good work, I think $160 was about what they charged me to strighten, fix gutter bashing and respray whole rim.
They are off the end on the left of Romford road Blacktown.
