too right last year i did a semester vet course on automotive servicing and repairs and the other semester i did automitive eletrical. I learnt some really valuable stuff there and have all the books and everything. Its saved my parents some money to coz if there cars arnt startinng i just go thru what i was taught and 9 times outa 10 i diagnose the problem and fix it so when i get my car i'll do the minor services myself n get major ones done by a workshop or something...all i need are some tools and i'll be able to do it oh and also for people who service the cars themself where do you throw out the old oils??? lol coz i dont think you can put them down the drain

hey all dad decided he'll let me get a gts4 because of the awd and it being safer and what not lol so i'll be getting it in 8 months the most. so i started to read up a bit and it came to my attention that they obviously weigh a bit more than a normal 32 gtst. one website stated that stock to stock the gts4 will beat the gtst off the line but then the gtst will catch up as it is lighter. so i was wondering if anyone has any good ideas on making the gts4 light so its the same as the gtst or lighter oh and i dont wanna remove back seats and stereo. just lil stuff that you dont really need and it will help lighten the car. cheers

ohh thats my fav mercedes of all time nooiiicceee well for me current car: nothing (driving in dads 04 liberty and mums mazda sp23) next car: in 8 months be getting a 92 or 93 r32 gts4 turbs keep that for some time and hopefully up grade to the gtr or if not a 4 door r34 turbs or non turbs(more likely turbs) lol

yer its an odd 1 might check the coils this week..is there anything i should be looking when checking the coils that would be causing this problem???

yeh 100% i drove it the other day to see what it was and only in 2nd

yer i dunno what it is..i thought at first either plugs or the afm is dirty i'll let yas know what is wrong with it when we find the problem

could be that..how do u check the coils to see if they r buggered or not?? its wierd coz it only happens in 2nd gear and only at around 5500rpm
