Full boost @ 5k?? Is that a 2.6L or a 3L?? I'm hoping to have full boost (aprox 25psi) at 5k or just under! Mine is a 2.6 but has Built bottom end port work 260 pon cams 6boost twinscroll manifold (creramic coated) GCG T04z (1.0 ceramic coated rear) Hypertune multi throttle body plenum (sexy!!!) Will run E85 that will help make power and bring on sooner! Hoping for fullboost @ about 4600-4800 on E85 aprox 600-640hp And 4800-5000 on BP98 570-610hp Will rev to about 8.5k Does this sound about right???

Did you use stock gasket or bigger (1.2-1.6mm) If you used bigger gasket you have lower compression so will need bit more boost to make up for the lost compression!! -
I have searched and I'm having trouble finding any dyno graphs. I'm putting a T04Z with 1.0 rear housing on my r32 Gtr and just trying to find some results Yes every one uses the .84 but I'm going for a bit more power and I'm not really that worried about lag. Any results would be grate!!

I have seen the same problem on 2 r33 skylines Manifold to turbo gasket!! The nuts rattle loose and the gasket leaks!!! I call it the screaming Asian under the bonnet

Ok cool I might go with HKS gaskets Yer I was talking about ARP intake studs!! I have ARP rod bolts, head and exhaust studs!!!

Hi all I have just bought a Hypertune multi throttle body plenum for my Gtr What gaskets do people recommend?? HKS? Are insulating gaskets worth it?? Also does any one ever upgrade the studs to ARP ?? Car will have a T04Z and run E85 aprox 600rwhp (I hope) Please dont tell me that I dont need to change the plenum!! I just wanted it for the looks and the even flow!! Cheers Ryan

Sure but wont remove from car untill I get it in the shed and start pulling the turbos off ( prob 2 weeks) $700 with hand controller? -
Hey I will be taking off my turbo kit in the next few weeks as I am chasing more power and going big single Kit consists of 2860-5's turbos (ported and smoothed rear housings for max flow) Tomei manifolds Tomei dumps (heat wrapped) HKS front pipe twin 70mm to single 85mm Nismo AFM's (one is slightly damaged but works fine) ARC induction box Apexi PFC The turbos manifolds and dumps are about 5,000km old Only ran 20psi for 2,000km!! In this time the oil has been changed 3 times!!! Yes I am obsessive! Would like to sell the turbos manifolds and dumps as a kit for 3k (cost me over 4k) But will part if there is enough interest ARC box $400 (discontinued) Nismo AFM's $400 ($800 new) HKS front pipe $300 also heat wrapped ($800 new) Happy to do a package deal Cheers Ryan 0425573330 In Perth

Ok thank you very much Sorry but one last question I read an interesting post about valve springs and not making power? When valve springs were changed power was greatly increased?? Could I run into this problem with the -5s or the T04z?? Head was rebuilt but stock springs were reused (all checked rates etc)

Having said that if I was drifting I would stick with a belt fan with a good shroud and a air guide. Oil coolers help also (if you dont already have one)

I run these on my r32 Gtr with ASI 52mm radiator I had to ditch the shroud and mount the fans directly to the radiator because it wouldnt fit no matter how much I modified it Would prob fit on a stock sized radiator though or Maby a r32 with rb20 I have the fans and the aircon fan set to come on at 78deg keeps it nice and cool even on 40+ deg days

Ok well I have changed the exhaust to HKS (no restrictors from what I can see and after reading for hours have come to the conclusion that it doesn't have any! Sounds like kakimoto do!! so is a 3" decat really going to be restrictive At about 500rwhp?? Ok I will change intercooler should I go back to stock?? or put the 115mm Trust one on??? Twin turbo pipe?? It this a draw back at this power level I have seen people modify them or just replace with HKS or Greddy but has there been gains in going this??? And last AFM's?? (using PFC) I have a spare vipec so I could remove them I have heard of people removing the mesh? Gains??

So where to look? Arc induction box Tomei manifolds Tomei dumps HKS front pipes twin 70 into 85mm 3" decat pipe HKS silent exhaust fitted after tune! 95mm according to nengun! Had kakimoto dual 70mm cat back exhaust (too loud) PFC Nismo AFM's Tomei type B cams (set to 0) Port polished head Hard inter cooler pipe kit (JJR I think) Stock intake pipes and twin turbo pipe Stock plenum HKS copy 100mm intercooler (could this cause restriction? I have trust 115mm intercooler laying around! Forged bottom end nothing special So I would start at the intercooler easy But would the 3" decat pipe be too small? maybe 3.5" would be better? After that should I look at Greddy induction kit?? Maybe a plenum?

Yer I'm not sure about 434hp because it was at ovaboost dyno ( lowest reading dyno in Perth as far as I know) Also (full weight plus fuel and 2 passengers aprox 80kg each) I think its fair to say total weight would be 1500kg at least!! (3307 pounds) Put that in a 1/4 mile calculator with 196km (121mph) Comes back with 481.5HP!!! Does sound right???
