bolted on kk480 now just after a power fc for it to tune it up. blew the turbo on my rb20 silvia and wondering if the vf28 can fit as i can get one for almost nothing. h

i use shell helix 5w 40.

i've had both these problems, i have blown cooler pipes off (when i just bought my rb20 silvia) the guys hadn't put them on poperly this makes the car choke and stall when trying to move it. This afternoon, the turbo actually blew and i knew it was going to at some point as i was an idiot, i had no boost controll running for the turbo (usually watched the gauge) and no bov running. Was going to put on a bov n attach a bleed type boost controller but now i can't! ahh but yes ur problem is definatly a blown turbo, i'd say the exhaust wheel is blown bad luck, hame! JUST READ LAST POST OPPZ!

Well here is a more recent one of mine different pipe work, new turbo...can't really see too much difference, think my last one was a couple of pages back, there is more to come tho...will post soon..

well that answers my question, i should be right for a while untill i decide to hunt for even more powa!! thanks guys

also keen on knowing the answer to this question as buying power fc on kkr480 turbo just wanna know how high i can go?

pull it apart and look for the cogs from memory there is one white one and severl black ones, check to see if they are all lined up and "meshing" nicely in there, also make sure no damage to the shaft and that everything is plugged in! Gl hame.

thanks for that imput i understand that the ecu is only as good as the tuner just wondered what would be my best option for the modifications i have. i am looking around for a power fc atm. as i understand they are reasonably cheap, reliable and easy to tune and would support my modifications, hame

hey regarding the plenum i have got all the bolts etc for it, just wondering, i was down at autobarn and non of the brass nipple threads would fit my intake manifold. any specs on them?
