  3. great D.I.Y write up man, i think i will invest in one of these little beauties soon. cheers hame
  4. hey and welcome to SAU it a great site, with good people, and i am sure you will find it useful ( i sure do). EUG those are some bloodly nice headers!! should make a little response on the ole' rb25de! anyway hesh, no i pretty sure the nissan badge is not stock on the particular model, it looks like it has been put on there.. anyhow any more specs on the the car? k's? age owned etc some more pics would be lovely! interesting dyno graph..strange dip midrange! hame
  5. yeah i use an apexi power d1 intake pod with a HKS ssq BOv n i get the nice flutter sound however i have alloy piping which helps a little, but it not to wanky. i didn't know that was the penalty!! $240 & 3 points!!! wow
  6. yeaha i don't want to swap the diff as it a nice low ratio one which gives good excelleration, i was told to just put in a gts-t cluster and this will fix the problem, however i like mine as it GREEN like my car.. you think this would solve the problem?
  7. Cara this is one tough lil N/A she is going to tuff as! i really hope to hear more about this down the track. i remember how excited u was about the graphics...but nos, power fc, audio, it all coming together really nice now!
  8. hey guys i may be a bit late posting information in this thread but when i did my turbo conversion on my N/A r33, the spedo does not work the same (it actaully approximatly 1/2) now this could be from a few different reasons. - the sensors are different - the diff ratio's are different? anyhow my mechanic said by putin in the turbo r33 cluster this will fix the problem, however, this also happens appartently when putting rb25's in r32's. just a thought.. so to be safe, go the N/A cluster if you can... hame

  11. hey man, thank-you for ur quick replies really makes life easy, i just took off my rim then and had a look, i think actually that the gtst caliper will fit onto the GTS rotor, however since i have the gts-t rotors, why not use them? they are bigger? sorry for all the questions but wat is hybridizing the brake lines mean? I think the pads on the calipers are still pretty good (good condition) however i'll post a few pics up just to show you. lucky for me i do have time and patients but it sucks when i using the car as a daily driver... a brake bleed kit, can i just pick one of these up from an auto store? cheers hame..
  12. yeaha the thread regarding badges was half way thru may topic!
  13. ahh ok, so all turbo cars have 5-stud hubs? ahh i learnt something today (again from EUG) :sorcerer: but seriously wat officer is going to have the rims taken off to check for the stud type? i mean would this be sufficent for a short term fix? So i should take the rotors down to a brake specialist and have them drilled to 4-stud then, are they easy to fit? like all i have to do is: - jack up the car - take off the wheels - undo the bolts behind the calipers - remove the calipers (and the pads within) - 2 x bolts into the hubs pull them off - remove the rotors - put new re-drilled rotors on - put hubs back on ..then i need to figure out how to change the calipers over....
  14. hmmm EUG for moderator!! awsome! so u recommend just going to local brake specialist and having the rotors re-drilled? is this legal..& is it safe??
  15. well i going to give it a crack today!! so yeah i will watcgh out 4 that..interested in replacing the seals/gaskets, u get them from nissan?? how much?? n u have 2 use glue?
  16. Hey guys i know there is another thread open by PVA_glue about braking issues however since this is about my car, thought i'd keep it in my section, i have the gts-t front rotors drilled to 5-stud and the gts-t calipers. I don't have all the money in the world right now but i really would like to fit these breaks onto my car. 1. will the calipers (gts-t) fit on the GTS rotors? are the rotors too small in diameteR? 2. is it cheaper/better for my to just by blank DBA rotors drilled to 4stud, or redrill the 5-stud ones to suit 4 stud. 2. or should i do the whole thing (conversion) eg buy new hubs etc, this way i already have the rotors etc... just something to keep the mind going.... regards hamo!
  17. man if i had the cash that'ds be mine for sure!! i'll keep it in mind however.
