  1. Okay guys i just finished putting the hoses on the can and all i think is well so far, there are pics below for feedback, i think all is well with the installation. Apart from i have one more inlet/outlet at the bottom of the can which can just be seen in one of the pics, should i just block this inlet/outlet? Also is the position ok where it is, i know it is close to the turbo heat shields etc. Think shouldn't cause a fire should it??
  2. Hey i know this is a little off topic to be putting in the N/A forum, however since most of you know about my 33 and the transformation, my patients (and non pateints) i thought i would share with you a little piece of my birthday which was yesterday (13th nov) apart form all the beauty presents i got off the miss's she gave this to me late in the afternoon. It has honeycomb and malteasers in it, with tirimisu, foreorocher, cookies and cream icecream layered! and everything is eatible! isn't it awsome???
  3. /\/\ x2
  4. well it recommended for cars with bigger power, however i cant really hurt having one installed, the other topic further down talks about positioning of them and what to hook up where any more advice in this thread would be appreciated!
  5. cops went over my car but didnt see my atmos bov uncovered pod etc, but u sure it points of the licence in QLD??
  6. few topics on this atm, but i say it can't hurt mate!!
  7. Excellent, well thats good to know wat about across models, it hard to find an altenator, but i have found a rb26 one? are these compatible?
  8. SO if i have one hose from passanger cam cover to one inlet on top of can, one hose from intake to other inlet on top of can and block the bottom is this sufficent?? i will post pics soon. hamee Also johnnilicte, if wrong could you possibly post pictures of what it should look like?
  9. "well i thought the idea to have more power was to do track work? i mean what good is 300HP when at the end of the day you're doing 100km/hr, same as the 50HP barina beside you on the freeway." Lol that is funny, but also true, nah i'd like to update the brakes as well, i mean i have the parts sitting in my garage so why not? How do i know if the braking system is ABS is there an easy way to tell? I found out the my diff ratio is lower than a normal gts-t so i have alot of acceleration of the mark which is great. I would like to do a bit of track work, hillc climbs, circuit races and the odd run down the 1/4! So i think brakes should be done? GTS4WD you said "Calipars will fit without any problems.. " Now is this with the new ghetto style rotors put on or the NA33 Rotors left on the car? hame
  10. sure thing will be doing it tomorrow (i think) so i will do one then!!
  11. that does really open up the options alot, i think i going to do two joins, one from passanger side rocker cover, and inlet and block the bottom intlet of my greddy oil catch can, like in the other thread open! think this will be sufficent? hAME
  12. i have a topic going on it atm http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Rb...67#entry3471267 but i think it should just be replaced (the altenator). My rb25de i sold, so that is out of the question, dammit! i need to find a new one, series one and two are compatible correct? wat about 33's n 34's altenators? As for the brakes, i think DBA's or RDA rotors would be the best option, i have 2 x gtst callipers (front) and 2 x rotors already drilled (5-stud) and i have a mate who is giving me another set of drilled gtst front rotors! ... hame
  13. okies, i am looking for a new altenator now, what is compatible for a rb25det series 2?? Is it an easy bolt on bolt off affair?? Think this may solve my problem!! Has anyone installed an apexi full auto timer to a r33?
  14. lol yeah, actaully i have, the bwlt is definatly the fan belt, doesnt seem to be too long, i did tighen it up but i snapped the bolt on the altenator, so i looking to just buy a new one and fit it maybe this will solvew the problem, it definatly sounds like it coming from the cog on the altenator, use to happen only on start up now it is constant...ideas? as for the brakes...i still tossing up the options. if i get the dba rotors, is it then easy to still fit the gtst calipers? hame
  15. yeaha i plan to connect mine between the passanger side rocker cover and the intake think this will give the best results, depends or ur engine set up i suppose. hame
  16. NEED an altenator! PLEASE PM ME ASAP
  17. i'll take the altenator if possible, wat series? pm me please
  18. hey man i'd love to buy ur altenator if you want, please PM me, yes or no.
  19. please PM me if u have an altenator
  20. lol did u look @ the other posts open on this?? i did post a couple of pics of where i was going to put it however, i have mounted the bracket above the turbo:S
  21. I have 2x gts-t calipers and rotors with plenty of meat, n pads are fine, so is there a easy way of fitting these with keeping the 4-stud or is it really hard? any feedback would be good, EUG do you have msn, same as you GTS4WD, i'd like to have a chat about them. Also i have a sqeaking from the fan belt, but i did the old soap as a dry lubricant and this did not quiten it down so i kept applying the soap, nothing changed, so i tryed to tighten the fan belt on the altenator, but i think it is the bearings in the altenator. you suggest just fitting a new one?? Is it a hard process or simply just bolt off bolt on and tighen belt? Hame p.s sorry for long post.
