agred it is thats why i not doing the rb25de+t option in my post i doing transplant for rb25det, but yes you need: Basic run down in price from what i estimate is - Turbo 200 - Manifold 50 - injectors 100 - Dump 100 - Front pipe 100 - Intercooler 140 - Pipe kit 150 - Oil feed 120 - Emanage 300 - Randoms 100 i have a topic you can read about if you don't like.. http://www.boostcruising.com/forums/index....=209006&hl= but the ones on SAU are probably better, i prefer them now GL dude

Gee sounds like some serious builds going on here and for so mant dfferent application, wish i could become a grease monkey ontop of my psych degree but would never find the time! lol, i just doing the simpe turbo conversion which everyone has done before but my R33 RB25DE will most likely be upfor sale... Yeaha well i can't wait to have it done i really wanted a gtst in the first place however, i couldn't go past the looks of my car now n well i thought i could just turbo the NA engine without much trouble, then i researched around a little got a few opinions and relised it was better for mt to just fo the transplant as it will be a more reliable engine then the DE + T. So i should all be beggining in the next week i hope, sucks having the car off the road. But if people are interested i'll keep ya'll posted? Kind Regards Hamish

Yeaha, good point, EUG the badge looks like where the compliance side indicators belong..interesting... and to thorpe 84, yeaha stero is the way to go if you are not wanting power mods due to restrictions, i am only on my p's however i was one of the lucky ones that did not get effected by the law in QLD as i got my P's in 05 i think, lol so new laws don't effect me. UPDATE: The car will be having some surgery done to her soon, i loved the N/A engine, and with my pretty standard mods allowing for higher flow of air it made good power, however it should be undergoing a transformation in the next couple of weeks where a RB25DET will be transplanted into the bay along with ECU + gearbox etc to handel the new engine. i had neons on my old car and had them hooked upt o a custom made switch board in car with two switches one for undercar set and one for interior set PM for more details.... Dont have them on my new car tho so have two sets laying around

I agree with the others, i bought a GTS however i am replacing it with DET motor as i have got a screw logged in my piston. BUt buy a GTS and you'll have more power than the GTS-T (without turbo) because the NA engine was built to allow for (no-boost) and therefore a higher compression. Just adding my thoughts.. Hey guys..as much as i love the N/A unfortuantly something incredibly misfortuant has happened to my engine and there for it will need a rebuild, so instead i am thinking about dropping in a RB25DET complete set-up. Any comments queries i should no about.. Does anyone know anyone selling an RB at the moment? Kind Regards HAmish

Yeaha good question, havn't seen many cars arond with the other bades on them not sure why i have those GT badges on it but hey dun matter!

Have though of all those options dropping a 26tt would be loads of fun but hellish expensive, dropping a 25t into it would definatly be th eway to go, and turbo'n the Na would be difficult but different, but then there could possibly be problems, and superchargin it...well that had not come into my mind but hey worth looking at. Ultimatly the 26tt would be awsome n i think we'd all love one under the hood. but for now i still weighing up the options.. Thanks guys!

Hey guys thanks for the comments, colour is a bit out there but like Nismo_god said she does stand out, goes good for an N/A but wanting to do the RB25DET transplant, or a turbo conversion on the high comp motor see how things go..but sure i'll post how i go about it.
