spotted a green r32 going along south rd this afternoon, as well as a couple of nice looking silver r33's also on south rd, and a silver 33 4 door at ikea
john told me when i took the car back the second time , when the exhaust had been put on.
a power fc is always going to be better than a piggy back ecu. john had told me from day one that if i am going to get an aftermarket ecu, to get a power fc. there is one is NZL for sale at the moment for $1250, or about $1077 australian dollars, and to fit and tune is out 500.
yes John did mention that she was running a bit rich with the first dyno graph but once the exhaust was put on it sorted itself out and was a normal a/f mixture after that (despitwe going rich every now and then)
i hope to be getting a power fc soon, so that will be good to see what difference that makes.
john (my dyno guy) didnt say anything to me at the time (with the first graph), but i mean nothing had been done to the car, hdnt even been serviced yet, as it was only 3 weeks after i got her that she had her first dyno run.
i got my car done at Tint-A-Car Murray Bridge, the guys were awesome down there and did an A one job, it cost $375 for Midnight Express, the darkest legal tint available,
certaintly worth the drive lol , but at the time i was working at tailem bend.
but it is like getting extractors.............some will get a power gain and others will not............in my case , the car gained responsiveness but no actual power gain (despite leaving it for a month and putting it on the dyno).
it depends on the car in the end
when i was ringing around about clutches and flywheels, i was told that some cars do not handle lightened flywheels very well (i think he said BA falcons), while others, like the skylines handle the flywheels very well.
i know ive probably just gone a little off topic! sorries!!
sorry guys i keep forgetting i have the neo version engine og the RB25DE. my apologises.
Eug would you like me to scan in a few of my dyno graphs so u can have a look at em???
