im at the wakefield, used to be at the rah some 4 or so years ago. the car is very very rarely parked on hutt or wakefield st. where i park is where i can see the car out the kitchen windows!!!!!!

any excuse would do i suppose!!!! i like where i work its cool..........being a hospital n all!!!

LOL i do have a 1/2 hour lunch break....but i work in the city and it will take me 1/2 hour to get there!!!!!!!!

yeah it does come down to money. it shouldnt be assumed that because people who own perfromance cars can afford to maintain them. i can just afford it all, but i would rather make sure my car is on time with services and is well maintained and have no money than have a car that is not running right and more liking to breakdown on me and end up costing more $$$$$, i guess you need to justify whether it would be worth spending 6x to make your car "roadworthy" personally i wouldnt be bothered cause i would rather sell it, and buy another car that is road worthy!! lol!!!!!!!

i know....its really gross. they are the cars that should be taken off the road straight away, no going over regency etc.

i think i read somewhere if there is black soot on the back of your car that it is burning oil??? could be wrong though. have you ever put a fuel injector cleaner through your car = lots o black stuff!!! lol made my car run perfect after though, i can give you my mechanics number if you want to get it done. its sooo worth the money.

but unroadworthy cars are such are health hazard. ive been behind some absolute shite boxes of cars at the lights, and when its time to go green, ive gotten a huge cloud of black shit thrown at me, plus the car goes soooooooo slow to get up to speed,then not do the speed. isnt that some sort of hazard in itself cause the car is going way too slow? last night i went past a coppa, made a little noise, and she just looked and me...and kept looking at me but did nothing. what the f#$%!!!!!!!! ive had the car for 9 months this month and still havent been pulled over!!!!! isnt cause im a chick or something?

thats another thing that annoys me.......... a $35,000 car for a first car is just way too much...... why why why??? but really when you think about it its not up to us in the end and it will never matter what we say, its his parents so it would be quite interesting to see how he would explain to his parents when he writes the car off totally.

Hey everyone has anyone been able to get hold of an aftermarket ecu for the n/a??? im particulary looking for one for my R34, but have not had any luck apparently apexi arent making the power fc's for nissans anymore and it looks that way with the other brands too (they only make for GTT) my other option is to get the ecu re-mapped.......anyone had this done? results? Cheers

i do realise that it isnt the point, but i just cant understand why parents would want to buy there kid, who still on their l's a car of that price and the fact that it is a high performance vehicle. you would think that they would want him to become a good driver instead of a road statistic of deaths on our roads.

Corolla92: you say your parents paid for some of your car, and you paid the rest..but was this car a $35000 car, or even a perfomance car? no it probally wasnt....... kids these dys think they can drive after a few lessons and believe they control any sort of performance car whether it be turbo or non turbo. its all for show "look what i have".........."look how i wrap myself around a tree" its easy for kids to say..."no no i wont drive silly" give them a few mates from school and i betcha that attitude changes very very quickly. it really pisses me off how kids can think they can drive just cause they are getting on their p's. big f****n deal. get a $5000 car, and learn to drive properly, get something thats gonna be bit forgiving, and wont mind they odd accidental reverse ito something, or whatever. a skyline is too much of a precious thing to be placed in the hands of the inexperienced driver.

i used to work at a place that is owned by some channel 7 peoples. they were willing to take on the story of how i got ripped off by supernautics in nsw...im sure they would find this more than interesting.

If on the other hand you can prove that your parents offered you a non turbo R34, which you passed up, then I'll respect your comments. Until then however, get off your high horse. when i was first applying to get a loan for MY car.........one of the banks said if i get a guarantor i could get the money.........my mum wouldnt go guarantor she wanted me to get the money myself. so.......a couple of months later via another bank i did. so i now own an R34 non turbo.......................so even if my mum did go guarantor it would be a different situation cause she would be the one with the loan in her name, not mine.....so glad she said no.....i really am. so i have no high horse to sit on..................just sitting in a beautiful R34 GT that i call my own. Same here STLKHR i have only a few little mods to my girl and when i put my foot down, she can go.....quite quickly too.....once i agree with your comments...

burn the 300C? are you crazy? lol.................its not worth that much considering that extremely dodge job its got with whoever put the kit on it........when i saw it the kit was almost falling off in some places...
