well my friend had a shattered vertebrae and had surgery yesterday on it...........im the worst person in the whole wide world

oh hey.... um yeah a few things have happened since my last post whenever that was. 6/3/2010 this morning on my way to whyalla i had a car accident. the trailer started to fishtale and i lost all control of the car and ended up with the car on a angle in the ditch and the trailer on flat ground. i was driving at the time and i cant really remember what happened. both the axles are snapped on the trailer and the car i was borrowing a write off. my friend had to be air lifted to hospital with a back injury, he had slipped a disc a while back and they think that the accident has flared it up again. the 31 unfortnatly has some damage, which i dont know the full extent of, all i know is that she is missing a front guard and the bonnet and front bar is damaged from the photos that my mum took. so yeah she will be out of action for a while so i wont be racing at Mildura for the Easter Meet in a few weeks time other than that had a few trans problems just with not taking off in the right gear and all that funky jazz, was hoping to have sorted that out this weekend but due to the car accident the car will be out of action for a bit got her time down to a 10.03 and won 2 elimination rounds a few weeks ago at mildura for a street meet, and that was against two 7 sec cars. anyway here is a pic that was taken at Round 3 of the Charlie Dennis Memorial Trophy at Whyalla last month, its a good pic as she has lots of lift at the front, she was launching even harder at the mildura street meet

comes down to what you wanna do to the engine, whether you wanna stroke it or whatever. it also comes down to whether you are on a budget or not. you would be best to work out what you want to do and then go from there, when it comes to getting power out of a NA engine you could spend alot of money to gain only a few kW's.

well here is the newest edition to my family (that ive had since december and started racing in january) will post pics up of the 34 once she is out of the crash repairers

Rb25de R34.... Single Throttle Body Kit
MissR34 replied to simjim89's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
well to begin with the kit you have the link to is not a single throttle body kit it is a 6 individual throttle body kit you will not need the one throttle body that the 34 as the moment as it will be replaced by the 6 ITB's.... you will also be needing a custom manifold as well as bigger injectors, and you have already said you would be getting an aftermarket ecu? if you want to keep your car legal it would be worth while getting the car engineered certified if you go ahead with it all... -
all good the door on the other hand has got dents in it from where the side mirror came off and hit it and the side skirt has sorta come off too

bahahahahahahaha thats well put Pete! nice one! but the EMU lol had to be killed, i thought it was already dead but it must have just been knocked out, my mate Dale, who lives in Renmark came to my rescue, and he unfortunatley had to kill it, i didnt see it move, but he said it nealry caused a 5 car pile up because it was trying to get on the road and a L plater slammed on the brakes and 4 cars behind him and swerve to miss him.... but on a serious note she will be picked up by my crash repairer tomorow, i was able to get in contact with him yesterday........id hate to know what a new front guard is gonna cost from nissan, i already know the headlight will cost $1800....... if there are a fair few scratches on my door window does anyone know if they will replace that too?
-
Yeah they will..... They did when i hit that hare only back in august last year.....

dunno exactly what speed there was an emu that ran across the road first and i saw it and slowed down but i looked to where it came from and didnt see any others so i started to speed up and next thing i know i hear a massive thud and ive pulled over looked at my windscreen and seen that its "caved" in at the top, i was by myself too but lucky my friend was at home only 5 mins away and he came to my rescue
-
I think I was going about 90-100 km/h. There was a emu that was crossing the road so I slowed down and then next thing I know I heard a massive thud I pulled over and I was shaking and my window was caved in at the top , I didn't even see the second emu, and don't remember hitting it, only remember the massive thud
