Does anyone know the true laws governing this? Is "I was passing a truck" a valid excuse for speeding? I think it is, but will it hold up in court? I grew up in a country town so I've done lots of country driving over the years and I am appalled when I see a family car attempt to pass a huge truck without going over the speed limit. Put your foot down or might not survive the pass. no its not valid excuse as u would still be breaking the law. if the car in front of you is going a little slow, then bad luck. if they're going well below the speed limit, then u shouldn't have an issue overtaking them doing the speed limit

no, fastest i've been is 170km/h in a subaru impreza lx when i was 17, and that was scary enough. and that was bloody stupid. i guess when ur that age u think ur bulletproof. i dont condone ridiculous speeds on commercial roads, every1 shud save it for the track

x3 not that i'm saying video games are to blame (everyone needs to be responsible for their own actions), but no one can deny that playing need for speed most wanted for a few hours doesn't make u want to fang it on the road. his girlfriend should have 'd some sense into him.

i have the same problem in my r33. but when i start it up, u can vaguely hear the screeching sound. rev it up in neutral, and the screeching noise get worse. i drive down the road for a while in gear and noise continues, but, when i chuck it in neutral the noise goes away. then once i put it in gear again the noise returns. and sometimes, the noise will be there, the same sh#t as above will happen, then it will go away for a couple of minutes, then come back again. i took it to my mechanic and asked him to check the belts, which he did, and he said the problem was fixed. but the noise is still there, and happening for longer, only on cold starts though
