  1. somehow i dont think the zonda would be legal in australia.. :laughing-smiley-014: 1. black audi A8 - for long interstate drives 2. red ferrari 360 spider - for weekend cruises 3. midnight purple r34 gtr - highly modified, as a daily driver
  2. i'm in the process of getting my car engineered. i saw ur thread about u getting ur car to pass emission laws with a power fc. do u think its possible with an safc?? and did the emissions test cost u anything? how long did it take?
  3. i'm also keen to hear responses from this question, as I'm thinking bout getting one too. I've heard mixed opinions about them. has anyone found they got better fuel consumption with one?? i'm currently getting a ridiculous 250km per tank (and no i'm not running super rich a/f ratio's)
  4. umm, how can u deny that doing 250% more speed than other drivers on road doesn't increase your chances of an accident, especially if your weaving in and out of traffic. and u admit to doing 200km/h on a bike, now that's stupid. Speed HAS killed plenty of people on the roads eg, taking a corner too fast. the faster u go, the longer it takes to stop, it's that simple. 4 people at my high school were killed in a car crash bcoz they took a corner too fast and lost control. every1 speeds, yes, but doing 200 in a 80 zone is just ludicrous....
  5. there's already a thread about this 'another teen sensation'
  6. in sydney, you can't drive a car with any performance modifications on your p's, but i think that hinges on when you got your license. dont know if it's the same in melbourne. personally i got bored of a stock r33gtst's power very quickly (neva drove an N/A) bodykit's vary alot in pricing, but I found on average your looking at around 1-1.5k for a full bodykit, and that's not having it painted and fitted (about 700)
  7. i got 188rwkw with hybrid FMIC, HKS pod, turbo back exhaust w/dump pipe on stock boost @ uas dyno day last weekend. apparently i have a 'freak car' :sorcerer: when i had the boost controller on previously, it ran 202rwkw at 11psi
  8. due to bills and stupid parking inspectors i can no longer afford to go, dam, mayb next time
  9. linkin park are a bunch of try hards who add to the pile of crap that makes up the deteriorating music industry today. i would rather eat my own terd than listen to them. but meh, each to his own
  10. I agree. personally i just think it's coz everyone in sydney's in a big fkn hurry. when i'm up in qld, people are much nicer on the road. but in my experience, commodore drivers are the worst offenders. they are so aggressive - always pushing in, they have to be the car in front no matter what the speed limit, no thankyou waves when u let them in, doing random stupid sh#t likes burnouts/illegally parking . the frustrating thing is that commodores are the most common unmarked police cars, so i rarely beep them
  11. sorry to hijack your thread gazza. but i still really haven't got a definitive answer. if i had an aftermarket intercooler and boxed in pod, that would still count as 2 intake mods yeah? and wouldn't having those mods engineered override epa? i tried looking on rta website but my gay internerd keeps crashing everytime i try to pull up the links to website. i live in sydney - so i don't know if these rules differ from state to state. could someone pretty please copy and paste/post info onto this thread. i would be eternally grateful. as i would hate to end up in the same situation as gazza
  12. every 2nd segment on today tonight is bullshit. since someone's complaining to the tv networks, can they try and get big brother canned while they're at it
  13. i thought so. when i got it installed i asked the mechanic to install it in a stealth location (it was installed in plain sight in the engine bay). perhaps i should have been more specific when i said 'stealth location'
  14. cool. is it mainly circuit racing throughout the day, or will there be other stuff as well eg.slalom/skidpan?
  15. potentially stupid question, but is it possible to install a manual bc (t-piece) in a location that isn't easily visible once you pop da hood? i was told by magic performance that it could.
  16. what about if you had a fmic and a pod boxed in on all six sides??
  17. 1. as much as it takes to improve my driving :laughing-smiley-014: 2. instructor would be good for the first few laps. and yes, scaring the shit out of my gf is definately on the agenda 3. stage 1 - exhaust, intercooler, pod, bc
  18. count me in as a noob. been keen to pop my track cherry for a while now. could do with a few pointers too. question 1. - how long will the day go for/how many laps would we get? 2. will there be instructors in the car with you 100% of the time?? reason why i assk is that my girlfriend is keen to come as well. and also, 3.what sort of speeds would a stage 1 mods r33 gtst get up to on this sort of track??
  19. 2nd that. gonna be possibly upgrading to project mu brake pads installed at bel garage sydney. they'll be for hard street use, anyone had experience with these pads?
  20. respect. completely get your meaning. i wasn't having a dig at sau or telling anyone how it should be done. i just had a different idea in my head of what to expect. praise to sau for organising it
  21. that ferrari with that sexy red paint job is incredible, i wouldn't mind having that color for my car. twas f@#kn awesome hey, bet it cost him a pretty penny, but meh, wot does he care, he can afford it
