yeah, what matt said 1 inch over standard size wheel ( in sydney). you need to go to the epa(there's one in botany) to get your noise and emission test done in order to get the car engineered, the test is free. I've got a built in turbo timer in my alarm/immobiliser, so i don't have any dramas there

What also made me angry is when, a couple of years ago, an aboriginal family in NT was swimming in a lake that was clearly marked as being infested with crocodiles. A little girl was taken by one. The family decided it would be a good idea to get a whole bunch of people and go out and kill crocodiles until they found the one that ate their little girl. I think something like 12 crocs were slaughtered in the end

I work at a vet hospital, and I've seen some pretty depressing things done to animals over the years. I don't really want to go into detail, coz it just makes everyone upset. Personally I think it's more than likely these people have very low self-esteem. And it gives them a sense of power being able to beat up something, even if it's an animal that can't defend itself. It sickens me every time I hear something like this in the news, as 9 times out of ten they get off, blame it on intoxication, or at best, serve 3 months in jail. The world would be a better place without these people

Cheers for your input. Power FC's were originally my first choice, but are very to get hold of, or are selling for very inflated prices. At the moment I'm leaning towards e-manage ultimate. Got quoted $1500 for installation and tune at croydon racing developments.

i'm currently looking into getting an aftermarket ecu for my '94 r33 gtst. I don't really want to spend anything more than $2000. My mod's are fairly mild - exhaust, FMIC, pod filter. I realise that it really depends on what the tuner is used to. I was looking into possibly getting either a haltech e8, EMS, e-manage/e-manage ultimate, apexi SAFC or link G3. Anyone had much experience with these? I need the ecu to have an in-built boost controller, and be able to pass emissions tests for engineers certification. Finally, can someone recommend a workshop in sydney, preferrably round the northern beaches? One day I might upgrade turbo, injectors, fuel pump etc, but that's as far as I will ever take it.

370kms suburban driving on '95 r33 gtst with exhaust, intercooler, pod filter (165 flywheel kw's @6psi, crap I know), pushing the throttle from time to time. Currently running lean (14:1). hoping to get better fuel comsumption with new ecu

i was told by my mechanic that if your BOV is 'plump back' as a pose to 'vent to atmosphere' it's perfectly legal. And that pod filters can be made legal if there are boxed on all six sides. I could be wrong though

when is a good time to upgrade the factory ecu on a '95 r33 gtst? mods are: 3 inch turbo back exhaust w/dump pipe hybrid intercooler boxed in pod filter want to get the most out of these mods without spending a mint has anyone had any experience with apexi SAFC? would this do the job, or would i need the power fc? also, does anyone know what the power limit of the stock injectors, fuel pump, turbo is??

go to rta website, type in engineers - gives u a list of engineering signiatories. took mine to mobility engineering in hornsby. how much depends on what u want engineered. most places charge $500 and up. the main thing they want to see is that it passes noise and emission test - exhaust below 90db, needs to be tested by EPA, in botany. i had a 5 inch tacho installed on passenger side dash which had to be removed for safety reasons. basically the car needs to be safe and pass adr legislation hope that helps
