    Rego?

Most likely entered the year of compliance as the year of manufacture. Happened to my old S13, advantage was that i didnt need to get a pink slip for the 1st 3 years of ownership. Didn't have any issues with rego transfer etc. Best to speak to the RTA
  3. Even though buyers need to exercise Caveat Emptor when buying cars, Carsales should definately have a duty of care to ensure that the vendor is the actual owner of the car. I am still waiting on them to provide me with a response and the last time i checked (2days ago) the ad was still up.
  4. Have you upgraded your clutch to a twin plate? The clutch and launch technique plays are major role in good times in AWD cars
  5. Mine must be special then. Lip on bonnet and no rear wiper.
  6. Pretty much same story with another car on carsales. The guy moved to Spain for work and the car was in Oz. Ad said it was in NSW Regional, then he emails me saying the car is in Derby WA. Dodgy! I even emailed Carsales to ask them to investigate and they still haven't gotten back to me. Here are the emails. Hi, No. The payment method will be bank transfer after you receive and inspect the car into ebay`s trust account. Cheers, Ben From: xkxk To: [email protected] Subject: RE: Nissan Skyline GTR R33 SR 3 V-SPECT Date: Thu, 7 Oct 2010 16:56:53 +1000 .ExternalClass .ecxhmmessage P{padding:0px;}.ExternalClass body.ecxhmmessage{font-size:10pt;font-family:Tahoma;}Sounds good where is the car? Can I see it? Would you like me to send a direct deposit to Western Money Union?? From: [email protected] To: xkjsdjkds Subject: RE: Nissan Skyline GTR R33 SR 3 V-SPECT Date: Mon, 4 Oct 2010 02:32:58 +1030 .ExternalClass .ecxhmmessage P{padding:0px;}.ExternalClass body.ecxhmmessage{font-size:10pt;font-family:Tahoma;}Thanks for the enquiry, The car is in excellent condition, the bodywork is immaculate, no dents or hidden defects and there is no outstanding finance on the car, also the car comes with a full service history. The price, including door to door delivery, is only $16,500 negotiable. This is a very good price because I want a quick sale. I must sell the car because I've just moved in Barcelona, Spain with my job (2 years contract ... so I'm forced to sell it because I can't afford to keep it and I need the money fast. The car was advertised on eBay as well and prefer to close this transaction only though eBay for our own protection, because carsales doesn't provide us any purchase protection. The payment method will be bank transfer because this type of payment is very safe. In this way both of us will start the deal with good faith so we can take it to a smooth end. Hope to hear from you asap. Warmly, Ben McCaffrey
  7. got mine from a local ebay trader for ~$100 ,over 2 years no issues. just look for a powerseller with good feedback
  8. I think he thought it was a manual box. You will probably only get 300 for an auto box. Try parting the car out.
  9. What model is the jacket? Is it textile or leather? And does it have the hump on the back of it?
  10. so its still got an a/c compressor? apart from the condensor ,whats it need to run a/c?
  11. I knew the guy that owned it before Chris. It used to be a pearl white SR Auto Club spec K's.Conversion was done around 8yrs ago. Paint code is off a VW or Volvo!! Is it still a Newcastle car?
  12. price for the antenna? can remove it for you ...considering your injured
  13. Take it to a tyre shop /mechanic so that you can look at it on a hoist. Going by your picture, the plastic sill trim is not sitting flush. Could be a cut and shut job.
  14. Do you have the antenna? How much posted to NSW 2287
  15. How long has it been since you've driven your car? Do you drive short distances? My mate had some milky residue under his rad cap in his Supra. Only ended up being cos he rarely drives his car and for the fact that his work is only 4mins away.
  16. Lookin at the car description in his avatar (240sx) he's a Yank. So a Camaro to him would be like a Falcadore to us.
  17. Had an xforce hi flow cat on my GTR and after 2 years the insides stareted to rattle so had to bin it. And my new high flow cat feels much better ie the Xforce cat must have been quite restrictive. In terms of catback systems, ran a Monsta (china) stainless system in my last car and was happy with the quality ie finish/welds and exhaust note. Needless to say you have a Nur spec GTR ,so dunno why you would be wanting to save ~$600 on an Xforce instead of a JDM one. I run Jap brand catback in my GTR the exhaust note sounds awesome and no drone. As BB said the JDM brand systems would involve R&D in gettin the systems to sound and flow.
  18. Wouldn't go the high flow Xforce Cat. Had one on mine and after 2years its rattling so had to bin it.
  19. Owned a 1j Auto Soarer a while back with catback, fmic, 12psi made 183rwkw. Did a high 13 1/4 down the track. Straight line they were pretty good but around corners they're like a boat. With a fuel controller ie safc, dump and front pipes and 15-16psi gets you 220-230rwkw!!! And numerous ones have run 12.6. so pretty good in a straight line. U need to stall them up to get a good launch. Got a 33GTR now with minor bolt ons and goes much better than my Soarer in all facets including handing and off the line and straight line speed. As for your mods Pistol Pete, Catback, front pipes, 14psi nets ~ 205+AWKW. HPI did a write up a while back and they reckon you can get low 12s with a stockish GTR if you launch hard with a twin plate. Never tried though cos im mechanically sympathetic to my gearbox .
  20. Pretty straight forward. Just spray some loctite freeze and release on each bolt. Bit harder without a hoist but definately can be done. You will need an extension bar to get to one of the bolts off the dump. Try loosening the ones off the dump first and if its too difficult get it fitted at an exhaust shop or mechanics they should only charge you 1/2 hr labour
  21. My mates sII GTST had a cup holder. Its factory and located where the square recess between the shifter and the centre console. Like someone said b4 its quite shallow.
  22. Loosen a pipe to see if it runs any worse. Also have u done the sensor check on your pfc handset?
  23. loosen one of your cooler pipes to see if it makes any difference. did u check all piping including the return pipe for the BOV
  24. RIP. Condolences to the families and friends
  25. If its not making boost and stalling most likely a loose intercooler hose which is an easy fix. You just gotta find where the leak is coming from. If you have an aftermarket BOV i would check that first.
