  1. try using a hairdryer to help soften the old double sided tape. then use citrus based "goo remover" to clean off the residue
  2. By lipping do you mean rolling the guards or flaring them? I assume rolling the guards. Normally ~ $60-$70 per pair make sure they use a heat gun so your paint doesnt flake

  4. The GTR box would be stronger than the auto box. So if u are breaking GTR boxes, chances are the auto box wont hold up. You could get someone like MV automatics to strengthen the auto. Someone on these forums bought the HPI 33 4door with an auto rb26. Think its running 11's. But thats running a strengthened box. Do a search
  5. I have been running the bcpr611 in the Iridium with no dramas in my rb26. If you are running ~15psi people have been using the bcpr7 (colder plug)with an 0.8 gap. The BKR's are shorter (25mm i think )

  7. doubt the 180's have had a easier life.the ones you've seen have probably been newer than the zeds. 180's would be cheaper to mod and parts support would be heaps better than the z. labour is cheaper as well. have u seen the engine bay of a z? very tight. but as an everyday car i reckon the 180 would be a better choice. but having owned 2 S13 SR20det's, the skyline i own has been the best car so far
  8. SI has Blue trim SII > has Red trim. SII has the convex shape around the buttons on the dash console SII has nostrills on the front bar SI has a different aerial switch SI has a different steering wheel

  11. Check the color of the oil and coolant for a signs of a BHG. But yeah that clunking sound may be your bottom end bearings.
  12. My 33 V Spec doesnt have one either. It was a option. 2kg less FTW lol. I dont have the rear wiper control on the stalk. As for the ADM s15 not having rear wiper heard it was against the ADR requirements
  13. I reckon its the counterweight in your steering wheel earthing as u turn the wheel. Its a well documented issue. U need to either take off the counterweight or secure it with an elastic band. Do u an airbag wheel?

  15. Its becoming increasingly common in Sydney as well. Where abouts in the Hunter did u get done? What did u get defected for? A guy on these forums GLTOY has passed numerous emissions tests on his RB25 >300RWKW with his own tune. I think he even tuned it on E85.Just search in the forced induction thread .

  18. RB26's run AFM's standard so with the return pipe blocked off u'll get rough idle. You could run a Djetro PFC , then u wouldnt need to run the AFM's.
  19. so they got they told u that your control arm is damaged and charged for a wheel alignment!! if your control arm is bent, they wouldn't be able to align your car properly. i would take it elsewhere, ie try the ones recommended by the guys above. and if its confirmed that your contorl arm is bent get it fixed and demand a refund for the dodgy work done @ beaurepairs. if u have any issues call the dept of fair trading or the beaurepairs head office. if you need a control arm, check out some of the wrecks in the for sale section. or call some local import wreckers.
  20. the public must have a vandetta against Skylines. went shopping on the weekend just to get some groceries. 20mins later notice some blue paint just below my passenger mirror. noticed a bit of a dint as well. so i went home and it buffed out with Scrath X, but now i have a dint the size of 10c . PRICKS. will take off the door card on the weekend to see if i can pop it out, otherwise will need to get a dent repairer. heres my CSI work lol It looks to be the same blue as the Ford BLueprint blue. Cos the dint is reasonably high ie need the door mirror i reckon its from a late model Hilux cos they come in a similar colour.
  21. thought u were going to get it looked @ today hence i recommended a tire shop, cos theyre normally open 7days. if you are getting it looked @ during the week , take it to a suspension place that does alignments. where u from? Like i said if something were to be bent its probably a lower control arm, or steering rack. Hope your rack hasnt snapped?? could explain the light steering. if so i wouldnt be driving. Just have a look under the front car and inspect
  22. have a look under each side of the car and check you steering rack and control arms. see if you've bent anything. And if all good take it to your nearest tyre shop.
  23. had a look on the packaging for my 5zigen lug nuts. it says 88-118nm
  24. 1995 Ford Festiva. Was my daily. Havent been booked for speeding in 6 years, then i bought the Festi and got done for speeding in it lol
