  1. GTR = number 1. covered many times, also have a look on Wiki. specs for the BNR32 & R33 (14411-24U00) T3 42.5 - 60.1 50T 0.42 T25 T25 41.5 - 50.5 62T 0.48 270° Ceramic ~225PS
  2. got a side on shot ABU?? Get an alignment soon man. I went from 18x9.5 +30 to 18x9.5 +12's and didnt get an alignment for ~500k's and already noticed camber wear
  3. $200-$250 is the average price for tints. Its normally ~$50 for removing tint, so $250 is a fair price.
  4. sounds like the gain setting on your EBC
  5. Nissan's are reliable cars. Being an NA and auto, would be unlikely that the car has had a hard life. As with any car, check for accident damage, check the car drives straight.
  6. they will probably defect you for not having a bonnet stand
  7. update. Tried Ultimate last week, similar driving .but didnt use much a/c. ~11.8L/100 this week Synergy 8000 but with 140km of highway driving.
  8. yeah ive been doing some tests with different fuels. Vortex 98 was the worst ~13.5km/100km mostly suburban driving. V power was pretty good @ ~12.8km/100km same conditions, even with a lil more spirited driving now im trying Ultimate. But the first 2 are more convenient for me to get cos its on my route to work.
  9. had that style of gear shifter on my soarer, was pretty easy to install. it only last ~5months until the plastic holding the spring for the shift button broke. so handle with care.
  10. ive been comparing V power Shell vs Vortex Caltex. noticed better economy with v power. even with a week of spirited driving i returned 12.8km/100 vs ~13.5km/100 on Caltex
  11. Several differences with a V spec and non V spec 33. -Vspec has an Active Diff, look for fins on the rear diff and an Active diff light on the tacho -Vspec is also ~10mm lower -Vspec has a bonnet lip to let more air into the radiator -Pretty sure Vspec has extra cooling ducts for the front brakes for more info do a search, its been covered plenty of times
  12. few months ago i was driving along the freeway when i notice a HWP in my mirror , after a few kays i see him look down toward his centre console. then i say to the gf, here we go hes running my plates. few k's later puts the sirens on and pulls me over. he says this is a random breath test. i think "yeah, heaps random" he does the test, then asks me to pop the bonnet. then checks for the shiney bits ie BOV etc, and asks do i get pulled over much. i said no never in this car, its stock std mate GTR's come from the factory with front mounts. then he let me go the cop wasnt too bad, was just a prick for pulling me over to try to slap a canary on me. funny thing is my GF in her Suzuki takes that road every day and has never been pulled over. when i saw the cop go back to his car i noticed his driving light was smashed, was gonna ask him was that a defect lol, but thought i better keep quiet considering he didnt gimme too much grief. moral is imports are cop magnets, better off driving a clapped out rust bucket with bald tires
  13. Pretty sure MV automatics in South Australia will be able to ship one over to you. Just google them.
  14. I've seen the same seats on a 33 and 34. Heres a pic of them in a 34. Notice the red stitching.
  15. AFAIK they were a Nismo option for non GTR's. Looking @ the trim, it looks to be seats from the r32 era
  16. yeah, was gonna write in to them and abuse them lol They showed the Carmy doing a 13sec, Falcon 13sec and HT doing a 17sec . They didnt say what distance they measured. Later on he said the Camry beat the other cars down the quarter, implying that it was the segment they showed in the first half of the show. Was probably more like a 1/8 mile
  17. As per the heading, has anyone heard of the 14411-08u00. Had a look on various sources online, including paull33r's chart . The closest i can find is 14411-06u00 which are the r32 Nismo ones. Any ideas ?
  18. Your alternator is on its way out. NRMA/RACV or your local mech can test it out for you. Go to the wreckers and get one with 30days warranty or get a full reco
  19. Having owned a 1j Soarer, the economy is about as good (or bad) lol as an RB26. Good reliable engines, but u will find that engine mods ie bolt on turbos and ecus are harder to get than the Non VVT models.
  20. Reckon the best bang for bucks would be the FTO GPX ~147kw and can be had for 10k or even lower. Being a 95 model they are not that old. Or also the VTIR Preludes, Civics and Integras.
  21. if u wanna open up your lights try this http://www.mkiv.com/techarticles/headlights/index.html
  22. I drove a soarer from Vic to NSW on a Vicroads permit. Didnt need one from the RTA.
  23. ^ nice time for a relatively stock car. what type of launch did u do? and what track?
