  1. stock standard, as in stock exhaust, stock boost, stock filter? Expect around 180rwkw, on an engine in good condition.
  2. its running ~1bar without a boostcontroller because the restrictor has been removed from the stock solenoid. the stock solenoid located on the drivers side tower, has two hoses look for the one with the yellow band around it . pinch around the yellow band if it feels soft , then the restrictor has been removed. BTW your boost signal is where most people get theres from
  3. You cant remap a 33 GTR ECU (otherwise i would get it done lol). So people that run remaped ecu's in there 33 GTR's run a 32 GTR ECU with a daughterboard or an aftermarket ECU ie Mines.
  4. looks to be a clutch I typed 30000 - rs595 bnr32 and found some sites with nismo catalogues. At first i thought u had Nismo Turbo's cos they had the model # 141111- rs595!!!! But the prefix 30000 appears to be for the drivetrain nismo parts G-MAX Twin : PlateClutch Sets 3002B-RS595 130,520 1 93/2 - SpecⅠ Sports Driving
  5. No you dont, just d/c the battery and press on the brake pedal a few times. Not a biggie, your battery was probably disconnected @ compliance anyways. Any mods on your car? Post a pic of your car!
  6. If your ECU is only a factory one, u wont need to get your fuel mapped etc . As its essentially non programmable. Just reset the ecu , the eCU will self learn with the new environment. If you want put it on a dyno to get a base power figure, so that you can compare it to your future mods.
  7. b4 I bought my car, I got it compression tested by Nathan @ grey imports. The seller was happy to take it there, it didnt take long. I just payed over the phone via card and they called me up and told me the result. I used this guy as quite a few on SAU have used Nathan to do compression tests. FYI it came up with 165 on 5 cylinders and 162 on the one, which was a really good result, Nathan said it was a well looked after car. Let us know the results EDIT: it cost $100
  8. hey it is an easy install. i just downloaded the wiring off the apexi website. as u probably know the ecu is in the passenger side kick panel. unscrewed the ecu and harness and spliced the wires as per the diagram.(no other external wiring was needed. I velcroed my unit to the ashtray. BTW whats wrong with your tacho, is it a fault with the cluster? if its a problem with the signal, your RSM may not read the revs as well
  9. happened to me as well. Pricks!! I took out the whole lock and it looks like u can swap the badge (and pin)over and keep your existing lock. the wreckers will only sell the lock and badge as one unit though, so will charge more.
  10. I think Cali style, is two tone paint with white walls
  11. how much meat left on the clutch?? needs a rebuild i presume?
  12. And results after the tune?
  13. nice, clean and unmolested. any mods planned? ps if you are lookin for new rotors, check under group buys, i think i remember seeing some DBA slotted ones.
  14. Welcome, It depends on where in Japland your car came from. If your car was from a place where it was close to the sea or snowed a lot then u would expect it to have more rust. Check you strut towers for rust, as i've seen a few Skylines and Stags with this problem. Did u import it yourself or did u get it locally? did u know the car had rust before you bought it? Your boost restrictor is located on the boost solenoid which is located on the drivers side tower. you will see two hoses, one with a yellow band around it. pull the hose off the one with the band and squeeze the restrictor thru. u will get an instant boost increase a tad under 14psi.
  15. hey, ive got 5zigen 18x9.5 +12 rims with 265/35/18 rubber, no scrubbing issues @ all. With coilovers i've drop it by an inch or so, can drop it more if i wanted , but dont wanna scrape my lip. If you are lookin for a set of springs, you could go for Tein springs they cost round $250 for a set of four. Or also check Sydneykids group buy for whiteline springs. Your std rims/tyres are worth $1000 and up. What type of rims u looking at?
  16. getting one from Natrad $250 fitted. They checked in there catalogue and it is the same one to fit 87-89 Turbo Skylines (r31 RB20's i guess)
  17. Hey guys, does anyone know if its the same?? also does anyone have the part number? Cheers
  18. U need to have your stock BOV's plumbed back in. Your AFM's wont like it.
  19. A friend of mine walked into a Jap showroom and grabbed a GTR brochure for me late last year. I was so happy and was gonna scan it onto SAU, but it was already scanned on by another member.
  20. just use a sewing needle to pierce the hole
  21. As u said in Vic you are allowed an intake mod, so the FMIC would be legal. Do u know where the airbag sensors are located ? If u dont need to relocate the sensors then it should be ok. Speak to the regulatory authority in your state. Vicroads?
  22. Alot of compliance places attach the child restraints through the boot and up into the rear speaker grills. so look out for that.
  23. I run Bridgestone 265/35/18 all round on my 33 GTR rims are 18x9.5 +12, and they dont scrub. The cars even dropped ~30mm and no issues can even go lower and no scrubing. You will find most people run this tyre and rim combination. The tires look good on the rim , they're a little stretched. But each brand of tyre is slightly different Knew a guy who ran 245/40/18 with similar sized rim (probably as stretched as you wanna go)
