The first I would say. Can't remember with stamp duty on the change of name but I was shocked at the size of fees in SA compared to WA, hence why I left the car in WA rego so long. Regret changing it now due to rego costs.

I registered both our cars when we moved to SA without even taking the cars in. As long as you have valid registration papers from your previous state if can just be changed over.

Great info thanks. One question, what's the experiences with aftermarket turbos? I mean if your standard ones die then you pretty much have to go aftermarket if you want new turbos. If you put on something like 34 N1s on a 32 is this defectable? Can't see how it could as they were a standard fit to the same engine but just interested. Thing that I find amazing, for cars after 1988 the speedo needs to read within 10% at speeds above 40. How you can be done for speeding at speeds below this tolerance is absolutely absurd. Anyway according to those documents my car isn't defectable which is great news. Cheers, Matt

I agree with SLED about the mailing list idea for cruises. My thoughts are that meeting points should be more on the outskirts of the city with the cruise heading out of town. I definitely don't believe we should ban all cruises.

Damn was really looking forward to the next cruise, good on Kel for having a good relationship with the local police but I won't be there even though I've got a stocky. I'd just rather see those police used on a saturday night to help out with the stabbings, robberies, etc that are getting so regular in Adelaide. Still, I hope the cruise goes well.

Nice midnight purple R33 GTR on Pt Wakefield bout 4:30 this arvo, MY FIRST WAVE BACK PPLS!! I had my car for nearly 8 months and waved at dozens of skylines and this was the first one to wave back! I was going to get on today and rant and rave about no-one waving but I'm satisfied now, took long enough though! Matty

Agreed. I'm not sure on how the commonwhore o2 and ecu work but surely it takes time to learn when changing fuels. If you ran a tank of Ultimate through it I'm sure you'd see better figures.

Thanks for all the replies. It's funny, in the flesh the AVS look much better than the Volks. People at work thought the same today also except for the colour. The picture just doesn't do them justice. I've never been a huge fan of white rims, plus I don't want to have to clean them every 5 minutes so I'm going to get the AVS rims powder coated with a dark gunmetal grey tomorrow and see how it looks. It's cheap as so if I don't like it I'll probably just sell them. Anyone with photoshop feel free to have a play with colours! Thanks, Matt
