yeah i did the gtr intercooler conversion on my sedan. bought about 5 90 degree bends, 1 180 u bend, about 2 metres of straight stuff and some 3inch to 21/2 joiners, truck radiator hose and some marine radiator hose and about 8 hose clamps. started at 7 am saturday morning and didnt finish until 10pm sunday night. we worked all night with the welder, dropsaw, grinder, buff, etc, but it was worth it. it looks fantastic, and because of the impul front bar we ran the return pipe in front of the intercooler but along the bottom of front bar. its completely invisible, except for the front mount. and the front pipe now even acts as an instrusion bar. hehehe if you want i can take some photos with the front bar off. the doctor said i might have brain damage. what the point of this story? i like stories.

yeah probably a series 2 thingy, my boot space is non existent, with the battery and crap. so thats why they probably changed it back to be like the 32's, so you can use your boot to hold stuff. but very nice.

very nice. but why is the battery up front? and not in the boot?

really stupid thing. after stuffing around with the ignition, alarm, remote start, and pulling the entire dash apart - tracing wires etc with multi metres. what had power, what didnt, trying to bypass the alarm etc. the main engine earth had rattled loose and one of us (friends or me) had only done it up finger tight. and it had to happen at exactly the same time as i was changing over the dash. in the end, it was the most simpliest thing that we should have checked first. but on the bright side, fixed all the dodgy wiring done by the complicence mob.

In the process of changing the auto instrument cluster over to the manual one. i removed the dash surrounds and then the auto instrument cluster. I then disconnected the auto wiring in the auto instrument cluster and connected it up and put it behind the dash. (so its still connected for the computer) then connected everything in the manual instrument cluster and the bitch wont start!!!!! any suggestions or anyone else had this problem

1990 ep82 gt starlet black/green 5spd 125000kms hks pod air filter 15" mx-5 wheels with 1000km old pirelli p6000's rda slotted rotors (1000kms old) nardi steering wheel nachimici cd player and infinty 6" splits timing belt and tensioner pulleys done 20k ago currently getting gearbox rebuilt and trd lsd fitted brand new clutch 2 side engine mounts replaced 5k ago new distributor cap/rotor 5k ago comes with spare engine(complete with turbo/manifolds 50k old), spare gearbox, spare front struts, and a few other bits and pieces. theres also a 1g-gte supra intercooler if you want to get keen and do a front mount. the only thing thats stuffed on the car is the paint. its getting really faded on the tops of the doors/side and will need a respray soon. the bonnet/front guards and hatch were resprayed about 2.5 years ago when my brother owned it. him and i are the only australian owners. im asking around 10500 with all the spares, rwc, and a few months rego. im waiting on the gearbox to get finished and then ill fit it so it'll be ready for sale in like 1 week or 2. if you want to make a reasonable offer, just ask. i dont really want to seperate the spares until i sell the car either. attached are a few pics. im on the sunshine coast, qld (about 100kms north of brissy) contact me here or on 0412411919 for pics follow the link.... http://www.twincam.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=7019

hi just completed the manual conversion and my speedo is reading half what it is supposed to. i understand that their maybe 5-10% different because of the auto dif ratios being different to a manual. but half? I cant understand it? any help please? thanks Matty
