  1. We have a missing problem on our 1990 R32 RB20 DET when engine is at operating temperature, would putting it on a Dyno locate the missing problem and tell us exactly what is failing so that we purchase the correct replacement parts. Many Thanks Tony
  2. Hi Guyz n Gals. Anyone around the Brizzy area got 6 decent coil packs for an R32 RB20 DET at a realistic figure for sale. If any available please contact me either by reply on here or you can email direct to [email protected] Thanks Tony
  3. Can anyone give any suggestions as to what could be the cause of the following problem on my sons Skyline R32 RB20 Single Turbo. Car has a slight splutter/misfire when at operating temperature but not when cold. Spluttering/misfire at constant motorway speed ie 80, 90, or 100 but as soon as you accelerate it evens out smoothly only until you come back to a constant speed then splutter comes back again. We are at a loss, Can anyone shed any light. Thanks Tony
  4. Hi All Can anyone tell me if the coil packs for an RB20 Turbo are the same as the coil packs for the RB25. I need some coil packs for my 1990 Skyline R32 RB20 Turbo and there is a guy not far from were i live selling a set out of an RB25 and need to just verify if they are the same. I called 3 Nissan dealerships today a 2 out of the 3 said they are exactly the same except they changed on the RB25 1995 onwards. Any members got any further info they can shed on this, i suppose i should be happy with Nissans verdict but you never know as one got it wrong. Prob i am having is that when the car engine is cold it sounds sweet but when it comes up to working temp it gets this slight missing, if i go down the freeway or any road for that matter and hold it for example on 80ks it starts missing as if its jerking forward and back but when i put the boot down a little further to compensate it evens out. Any ideas would be appreciated. Tony
  5. Thanks to all replies, found the prob it was the connection below the air filter unit, had come completely out hanging down (Doh) Thanks Pete for the contact in Brisbane, will keep hold of the number. Regards Ant BritishBulldog
  6. Hi Guys n Gals New to the forum and just saying Hi so Hi ! Got an 1990 R32 with a little prob if anyone can shed some expertise on it. Had the car for nearly 6mths without any probs but about 4 weeks ago when pulling up at say traffic lights she seemed to be hunting high and low, myseriously this dissappeared until yesterday and has become a lot worse. When you 1st turn the engine on she is idling faster than normal then if you grab hold of the throttle control cable on top of engine and give her a rev she then settles down for about 10seconds then suddenly revs up and down just as if i was turning the ignition key off and then back on again. Tried to get going on the road but she barely moves 10ft with what i would term as bobby horse effect. Anyone got any ideas of what it could be and does anyone know of anywhere on Brisbanes southside were i can take it to and get a genuine diagnosis with reasonable costs. Thanx for any help. Regards Ant Britishbulldog
