  1. Hey champ, the r34 conversion looks awesome but i think there is a fair amount of fabrication invovled in the mounting of the fenders and bonnet and headlights. but u should check it out (Bee-R r32r43 conversion) it certainly will break the bank. I have recently had an accident i wasn't in the car. The hand brake slipped in the car park at work and she rolled a whole 100 meters into a fence. front right hand side too! lol After consideration, I have decided on a trial (copy) front bar with m spec side skirts and a vented fibreglass bonnet! should take a fair while to get everything together
  2. Very nice read! Definately a tough r32... just sexy with show and go
  3. Slight delay as my handbrake slipped today while i was at work and my car slowly rolled 100 meters into a fence at work@!
  4. Well considering the ideal would be the R32 bonnet which is significantly lighter than the gts-t. Its weight has many benefits - weight reduction, style, and it can be very annoying when lifting the bonnet several times during tuning (test drives) and working on the car. I was under the impression that there are some dampener available from tein but they are not for the r32 range due to the dimensions involved near the quarter panel however....... possible soultion which i thought about the other day while at work..... would be instead of mounting a hinge and the strut/shock on the quarter panel where u normally find them on soarers, and newer vehicles how about mounting the bracket in front on the rad support and allow the the strut and shock absorber to open diagonal across the engine bay. so the maximum length of the shock and strut be must equal or greater than the required lift height and this limits the mounting distance between the origin of the strut/shock on the bonnet and the rad support. the only problem that i have thought about is that when lifted the bonnet origin will be misaligned with the origin on the radiator support. I am not very good at fabrication and hence i haven't swung into action however it is an up and coming project maybe along with a gt-r bonnet! any thoughts?
  5. hahaha aspley hypermarket/aspley maccs lol! along with five other cop cars
  6. Hey guys, I wouldn't mind a drive up the mountains and i think i have a good idea were it is! is it a members only thing? i have a skyline just don't konw anyone on the forum and i am not a Qsau member
  7. put me down for one......! PM when u need the cash!
  8. ILLEGAL... I had multi dicection T10 LED ultra white! looked awesome...... till they start flickering for some reason but definately mattchs diamonds vision or xexons!
  9. Hey guys, just to add my two cents. i am no turbo expert in fact far from it but i have a rb20det with a sliding performance highflow turbo hitting boost at 5000 rpm and my mate just fitted a TO4E monsta turbo costing a whole 299 excluding postage................ into his r31 converteed rb20det with very similar supporting mods IC, fuel pump, exhaust etc........ i am running 12 psi and he is run 14 psi..... and the TO4E Hammers! haha, now u may now abuse me turbo tech freaks......!@

    H3C? for r32
  11. I mean i guess i could just remove the a/c it doesn't really work too well i thnk its a sensor or something but i would like to get it working sometime in the near distance future!
  12. splash plate... sorry i am no expert! some plate that should be somewhere in the crank area? I mean the alter and water belt is perfectly aligned and so is the power steering! it just the f**ken a/c! i have removed everythin gfrom that side soo i just cant get the mounting bracket to sit in the right spot
  13. Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone knew why this problem came about or how to fix my problem. Recently, i have noticed that there was a squeeling noise coming from the belts and upon inspection (rb20det) the side of my a/c belt so i brought a belt from repco to replace the current one. ON removal, one of my dads friends (electrical and mechanic engineer) said there is always a reason. It probably misaligned... The a/c pulley and the crank pulley are misaligned about a 1mm (size of one groove) soo i could just replace the belt and wait for it to happen again or try and find the problem.. Well after removing the a/c pump, power steering pump, afm, ic piling and etc i have the mount removed from the engine wall and i can't figure out why it is misaligned??? is it maybe the wrong mounting from another rb or will it align with the right positioning... ANY HElP?
  14. Sorry for the late reply. from memory it runs from the right hand side (if u were looking out the back window) to the centre.. just follow the tubing from the noozle on the window back!
  15. Hey Eug, I have a r32 and i had some water in around my space saver and i was under the impression it was come from the rear windscreen seal and after having it replaced with a generic seal adn a full tint water still appeared there.... I finally removed the rear parcel shelf to find that a plastic connector (L connector) had partially snaped and caused the leak... connectors were 1.50ish from super cheap and and as a resilt of this leak the bolt which held up my fuel tank provide a passage for water to slowly leak through out of the boot and hence rUSTed the un painted area of my boot.... now i need a welder! check it out it takes for few mins and could save a bit of money... anyways hope this helps out!
  16. Hey lach, I would say that SAFC, fuel pump, and FMIC probably won't make 190kws but thats just an estimation. I have a gts4-t with a walbro fuel pump, FMIC, stock injectors, stage 2 highflow from sliding performance, fuel pressure reg, ecu remap from mercury motorsport, splitfire coilpacks, K&N pod, and 3inch exhaust. i am 160 at all wheels on 16 psi which is just over 1 bar. its an rb20det
  17. Cool i have a stage two!
  18. Hey guys, Just a quick question for all you Forced Induction Fans out there............! I recently had a rb25 highflow turbo mounted from sliding performance and i was wonder what is meant by the stages used to describe this turbo and others? Stage 1 Stage 2 Stage 3
  19. 1 bar or 14/15 psi upper limits. Buy a highflow from sliding performance or a GCG rb25 turbo.... and support those mods! FMIC exhaust, fuel pumps, piggy back fuel computers! etc or just get a rb25 turbo from a r33 s1 or s2 (different turbines but nylon vs Steel wheel)
  20. Hey champ, 16 is not really a good air/fuel ratio! in fact thats really really lean. I would suggest a fuel filter change, injector clean, and possibly a fuel pressure reg and DEFINATELY a fuel pump. There are a few around 040 bosch, walbro or nismo or gt0r pumps. it really depends what your power goal is. A re-map of your ecu or a piggyback fuel computer like a SAFC1/2 or a Neo will help harness those ponies. My r32 gts4 rb20det rb25 highflow turbo stage 2 splitfires remap fuel pressure reg 3 inch exhaust stock bov FMIC Boost 16 psi AFR 12.5 gt-r gearbox exedy HD clutch 158.5 aatkws
  21. Hey guys, i recently had my windows tinted and as per usual the guys never make sure the demister is working... I have noticed that the plug which connects to the large circuit on the window is unpluged. I can't find any plugs on the parcel shelf or the side panel. and the soldered wire has been detached from the window.. Does anyone know where the plug is? or how to hook it up! i have check the switch... it turns on with a light. and the circuit seems to have low Ohms on the multimeter.
  22. It seems that r32 ac units really have alot of issues. I have one that won't switch modes now and it won't heat or cool!
