hi mine has just started doing this seen alot of threads saying the afm one person has said to me could be the ecu relays could it possibly be that do you know but one of my problems is it seems to be putting more fuel through making the exhiast pop when its winding down also cuts out at random times totally or loss of power at times then it comes back on again ,the pins u resolder are they under the actual board so you would have to take the whole board out or are they just the ones you see when you take the panel off thx

took the afm out last night and cleaned it up as much as i could the mesh was black with muck so did that too it seemed to help alot there was alot less popping on the exhaust so i guess that not as much fuel is going through im going to attempt to re solder some of the pins and see if that brings it back to life , but so far looks like it is the afm due to how i havent had the problem since i cleaned it

hi wondering if anyone has had this kind of problem on there r33 gts-t my revs started going up and down alot just out the blue when idle i thought it must be the afm i have arranged to sort one out in 2 weeks but ive found another problem now and a again when driving my mph drops even if my foots to the floor total loss of power than can come back on and off again and acts like its going to stall as it gets to low mph engine cuts off as if the key is in mid position lights come on ect no power steering could this be something with the afm or is it a fuel pump issue thanks for your time

hi wondering if anyone has had this before i have a r33 gts t i have had a few problems with my coilpacks so i did the silicon method anyway still seem to get a slight missfire so i ordered some packs to replace them also had some new spark plugs popped in anyway tonight on my way home i had a total power loss on the car all lights came on power steering went so i thought the car had totally died started it back up and a few mins it started set off again same thing happend but i tried dropping the clutch and reving it after a few secs the lights went off and power came back as a few times when it happend on my trip when i was at low mph as i was trying to get it going it was chugging as if it was out of petrol could this be my packs or plugs are not at 0.8mm or is my fuel pump dying thx for your time
