  2. Had some more dyno-tuning time Set to 178RWKW (real) or 200RWKW on other Dyno's, as I found out recently not all dyno's measure the same! Running 12.5PSI, AFR's stable and safe. Mid range all sorted and tuned. Very fast acceleration. Happy to send Dyno logs (pm) Still Mechanically A1. Any inspection or test welcome. No joyrides or time wasters please. Body paint in very good condition. Revoking previous offer for swap for x6 (got one) but still open for a modified Ford v8 (EL-AUII).

  4. I always feel like the Prime Minister driving around the central coast with my police escort service... I know most of the u/c cars so I just smile and wave to them.. They even have a toyota family van and I must confess im curious as to what they would do if someone did a runner on them.. Targo van vs Skyline?. Still haven't been booked in 5 years and NEVER in my skyline.
  5. http://www.jdcinfo.com.au/R32/ Finally found some webspace for another set of pics. Will add some video soon as well for the 2 long distance guys talking to me and anyone else.
  6. yeah that.. thanks mate. When are you doing a dyno day next? Wouldn't mind giving the r32 another tune. running rich since you fixed the spark.
  7. Hi All, I'm trying to chase down the covers / plastics for the inside of the car around the manual gearbox. Car was an auto and I think I just need the plastic cover for the area and the shroud around the gear stick that didn't come with the front cut. 0422 306 878 Cheers, Will
  8. Not that long ago, I had a cop pull me over.. he informed me of these new laws (Not just P-Platers.. but street racing as well). He informed me that he "liked my car, if I do anything wrong he will arrange for it to be confiscated and I wont get a chance to buy it back at auction". I felt somewhat intimidated, but by knowing the police system, he would have done a check prior to pulling me over to find a pretty clean record. This lead me to believe that this system would be open to abuse, cops could get access to nice cars really cheaply, especially if they know the auctioneers who will deal with the 2nd round confiscation. I've even heard of a case where a car stereo was removed from a car that was taken in newcastle a few years back. It was nasty stuff. I don't mind police getting powers to perhaps sway a few people that might be scared of the law and consequences. I think they have made some ground but most P-Platers are now buying $2000 or less cars to drive around in until they are off their P's. These cars are typically less safe, less maintained (as they are going to scrap or thrash it to death) and loosing these cheaper cars isn't a big problem. I don't see many P'platers on the coast in anything 10years or less on average. They probably wont have P-PLates on when they are doing it anyway, If P-Platers could buy their dream cars, they would care more about this law... those lucky enough to have something expensive to loose it for a short period whilst they probably will be suspended from driving... still not big enough.. sadly there will always be someone silly enough to jump in the car, floor it and kill themselves and others.. Anything that would be effective would have to lashing in the main street and parents can't even smack their kids in public anymore... So I think ultimately this type of thing just serves a "we are doing something about it" to cover the voters...
  9. Will do another set after a detail. Note some of the reflections in the car look weird, I can send a close up. Thanks for the poeple who commented on the car in pm's! If by any chance someone has an EL XR6/8 in good condition that would be the only trade I'd consider. Cheers. Will

  12. Hi all. Im new to these forums but not new to skylines. Need some opinions and all are welcome. I have a 1989 R32 GTS-T Skyline which was stock when I bought her from John at www.gtr.com.au. Since I got her, i* dropped the auto out and got a front cut manual, and converted it (kept the manual computer). Upgraded the exhaust to a 3" from dump pipe, 3" cat and 3" to back of the car, put a big front mount cooler on and a r33 turbo keeping the R32 Waste Gate. I put a Walbro fuel pump and bigger filters on the lines to give her plenty of petrol. I got a dyno done on the weekend and came up with a weird 167rwkws or 201bhp. It was 32deg on the day, on a main line dyno. It was still running rich at 16psi which I thought was very weird for stock injectors. I was told by the guys at the dyno my car was running way to rich.. and to get some sort of tuning solution, be it a PowerFC or Nistune. I bought nistune and got it up and running last night. Couple of questions: Do you guys think 167RWKW for my mods is expected or quite low? Some guys post same HP with nowhere near the mods I have. (197bhp was aquired off a stock Rb20 with cat back and intercooler @9PSI stock everything else.) Is 16PSI way to much for a R33 Turbo on a RB20? Should I continue to tune the car at this level or drop it back to lower boost? Could my stock injectors with that fuel pump really still make the car run RICH at 16psi of r33 turbo? Any and all opinions welcomed before I take it to a tuner on the weekend. * By I , I mean that 2 people helped or did the work for me in regards to labour.
