Hey everyone, Just remembered I had these in storage after selling the skyline 4 odd months ago. They wouldn't really make sense on a 2.5 bmw so if anyone wants them throw me an offer via pm otherwise I'll just put them back on. Not after a crazy high price then again no idea what theyre worth. Blue writing on white tin background, Front is slimline and both undamaged. As I understand once you own the rights you can get them remade in any colour / material combination?

JJR Coil Packs Vs Oem Vs Splitfire Vs Other
towlie replied to 4drftn's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
Mine have failed again and I can promise you it is the coils. That's twice within 6 months and under the 12 month 'warranty'. Will be extremely interesting seeing how JustJap react this time when I ask for a full refund... Oh Cl11QE, same problem here, the spring just fell out of mine the day I was installing them Suppose you get what you pay for. -
Spotted an unmarked black VE SS ute stalking the dara formal last night ..massive cheers the random who knocked on the window and warned us r33skylinegtst - I've seen a couple of new model lancers as unmarked cars lately, hubcaps and all haha and followed a mint white 32GTR with gold Volks through fadden and lower chisho yesterday

JJR Coil Packs Vs Oem Vs Splitfire Vs Other
towlie replied to 4drftn's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
So now with the price difference of $250 between JJR and Splitfire (thanks to the worthless AUD) which would you choose for a daily? Planning to keep the car for another 2-3 years. Has anyone had any bad experiences with the JJR since the last update on the thread and if so how has the 12 month warranty held up with the seller? Cheers -
Instant loss.. thats crazy ..but probably effective too. Last I heard here in the ACT it was 4 points and $600 odd and 45+ was 6 points.

Can't believe you guys get hassled so much. I drive about 400Km a week for close to a year and a half in the Skyline and have not been done / targeted once *touchwood*. Been past 6 RBT's in the last few weeks and they've just waived me on and I fit the description perfectly. Male - 18-25, spirited driver, loud exhaust etc etc. Only two times I've been pulled over where I felt I've been targeted have been in commodores... Even coming home from work tonight I was side by side with a marked cop car from the lights at Mawson, eyeballed him and I took off pretty quickly for most peoples standards and nothing?! Thank god most of the whinging idiots on that website don't make the law. Got a headache reading the first few posts.

agreed. just how I managed to find my way on here.. I usually fill up when I hit the line just before E, like the second last line. About 40-43L goes into my tank which does seem odd as its 65L if I'm not mistaken??

Where to get Skyline Serviced
towlie replied to r33skylinegtst's topic in Australian Capital Territory
Haha yeah I'm sick to death of Canberra workshops trying to pull one over on me because of the car so if you wouldn't mind PMing me the info that'd be great! On that note. I drove around Fyshwick for 20km looking for Capital Steering and Suspension to sus them out but couldn't find them. From what I remember they were next to bridgestone tyres but I mustn't have looked hard enough. EDIT: Decided to not be lazy and go out to Qbn on leech's and Teon's advice (as above) to Inline and was more than happy with them. Recommended. -

Can anyone recommend an honest suspension shop that doesn't charge the earth and does good work / inspections? -
I Am 17 On My P's What Car Would Be Best For Me?
towlie replied to rustykilla's topic in South Australia
My opinion - Get a V6 VN or even a VS now they've come down in price. More than enough power to get yourself into some serious trouble. That was my first car which I'm glad I had. Got all the stupidity out of my system in it and learned what to and what not to do and didn't care too much as it cost less than what my insurance premium is now. You learn all you need to know about understeer/oversteer unexpectedly in one wet night and that has saved me now a few times. Bought my 33 last year when I was 18 and in hindsight probably wasn't the best move as its costing me 7K per year to keep on the road (Insurance, Rego, Petrol & servicing). Ask yourself if you can afford that while you're at school. On the up side I appreciate my 33 so much more now I know what its like driving something worse and that stops me from abusing it or driving like a tool. -
Was driving behind gray r33 gtst with body kit from Fadden to Phillip this morning. big skylinesaustralia sticker on back window.
