  1. Nowhere am I singing Labor's praises. I'm simply stating that the LNP exaggerate the issue as an election tactic, and LNP fanboi's eat it up like fine-ass foie gras. FWIW I even chose not to be a member of the FSU... I never said exclusively.. but hey, GFC gon' FC and recession gon' recess this is correct. Both sides employ equally childish scare tactics and always will...
  2. what that graph also shows is for every major Labor deficit in recent times (that were caused by external precipitants) said deficit was shrinking every year and was on it's way to an eventual surplus.
  3. good luck finding a graph regarding the federal budget that doesn't have an agenda
  4. I never said we should go and spend all the money on shit because budget's don't matter, what I said was it isn't as bad as LNP propaganda would lead you to believe. Of course we need to work towards a surplus eventually but it doesn't need to be via extreme harsh measures and done by the next budget. As I said a few pages back we need to look at it as a longer term proposition, not just an election tactic.
  5. Well, that is not really anything to do with the federal budget lol But yes, it was an epic clusterf**k
  6. Actually, the last Labor surplus was delivered by Paul Keating when I was well and truly ailve. It came a few budgets after a recession (which I also remember as being quite scary,) and it was ended by another recession from which it took howard a few budgets to recover. After that were a few good years, fiscally speaking, followed by the GFC which crushed the budget and would have doe so whether ALP or LNP were running the show. This idea that Laabor can't handle budgets is absolutely retarded, do you think they get their treasurers from the footy club? They are just as capable as LNP. Fact is external factors play a bigger role in countries returning a surplus than any other single factor. Considering australia has never lost it's AAA credit rating, I don't see that we are in the imminent danger that the LNP have used as an electiob scare tactic. I'm not a Labor supporter by any means. I just hate this current government and people assume that for some reason means i must be "a lefty".
  7. Lol if anyone here has political blinkers on, it's you my friend. If the LNP proposed a policy of sending a single cat turd in an envelope to every australian household, you'd be all up in here telling us about the economic growth it will spur due to the extra jobs created for the harvestig and bagging of said cat excrement and how it will fix the lack of cat turds sent by the ALP. Also, the post was clearly nothing but bait...
  8. Why? You unhappy that only 73% of their reader base is correct? C'mon man it's nearly 3/4
  9. That's true... the only think N/A supra owners ever say is the same as the only thing N/A skyline owners say: "N/As RNT SLOW I BEET V8S N TURBOS ALL THA TIME"
  10. That supra reminds me of an old tube vid that should be on YT I'll try to have a look

  12. Or when i went to emergency and was sent home 3 times despite telling them my brain was swelling. The 4th and final time i went in i had a seizure followed by an emergency lumbar puncture... but only after i had been left on a bed screaming in agony until 4am. I went straight to private and was kept there until diagnosed and fit to go home
  13. Good example would be my arm. When i hyperextended it and smashed EVERYTHING in my elbow public hospital deemed it "elective" surgery and had a waiting list. I went private and had the surgery that day from the leading elbow specialist in vic. After the operation and I've he saw the extent of the damage he said that I'd i had not had the surgery that day and gone on a waiting list i would have had to fuse my arm into a fixed position or have a prosthetic joint installed
  14. Moh and Greg should hook up
  15. FWIW I pay $110/m for the family (4) with medibank corporate. My hospital stay was $500 (excess) and medibank pick up the rest. There are some exceptions though, bills have to be claimable on medicare before private will touch them. So that means any emergency stuff will be covered but things like cosmetic aren't
  16. Fkn lol greg you spastick It's insurance not cheap surgery. you can't just sign up when you need it.... do youv think shannons would give you policy if you rang them up and said you just had a smash and were looking to reduce costs?
  17. Send Ric around Motherf**ker will pay
  18. Was the $20k to "stance his whip "
