  1. told ya... tell them you want to keep the handset and terminate the contract. Moving for work was unavoidable and you purchased the product in good faith assuming that there would be coverage in all major areas etc. if you sound like you wont accept anything less, however don't come across as arrogant they will likely just give it to you as a commercial decision
  2. I was chatting about cheffing today at work and I suddenly remembered a guy i used to work with. this guy was the ORIGINAL hipster... had full sleeves on both arms, the glasses, the hair, the fashion... all down pat.... i had forgotten about him until today.... worked with him in 2004!
  3. the recommendation is actually 8.0 - 9.5 FWIW
  4. still not stretched if it's within the reccomended specs of the tyre... NT05's for example are RECCOMENDED, by Nitto, to be fitted to a 18" x 9.5" in 235/40/18 let enough air out of a tyre and it will come off the bead no matter what the size
  5. also splain how the tyre can be off the rim, yet still inflatable at the servo?
  6. Fkn lol @ 235's on 18's being dangerous... in 18's ADR's state 245/40 is the minimum legal on a 9.5, so it's only 5mm each side under, however most decent tyre manufacturers will state 235/40/18 as the minimum reccomended for a 9.5. This mean's it has been tested and they are happy to put the company name behind it I have always run 235/40's on 18 x 9.5 or 235/45 on 17 x 9.5 and have pushed them as far as they will go many many times.
  7. still a so................
  8. lol somehow I like my idea better
  9. call the telecommunications ombudsman and tell them you have attempted internal dispute resolution however it was not acceptable. the issue is that you are required to move for work and they can not provide reception. the ombudsman will accept the complaint and give you a number to call (the telco's external disputes resolution team) this will cost them $50 (telco) you then speak to someone and they will just accept to cancel your contract outright and let you keep the handset based SOLELY on commercial reasons. If you escalate the complaint further and the ombudsman accepts it (which they will in this case), it will then cost them (telco) $500 (which is more than the termination fee) so for them it's now lose $300 or $500 If you don't believe me ask ay ay ron
