  1. true and untrue.... it doens't feel like a stock car, that's for sure remember its an actual sports car from factory... has stiffer suspension, chassis is reinforced etc etc but you are sure right about the gearing
  2. i recon by the time i'm done the grand total will be pretty small 2'nd hand everything turbo - $400 front/dump - $400 3port - $100 hotside LICP $100 already have fuel pump Total $1000 + tune for 230awkw is pretty damn good also $2000 total spend for 70-80kw gain (50% over stock) is hard to beat 20psi is stock dat boost

  5. I ran 9.5+12 with a low car (tyres just tucked) and 320rwkw... had very little camber on the rears and had to massage the inner guards a little to get it to fit with a 235/40
  6. if I keep the 7 turbo and do the LICP, x3e exhaust, 8MR bov, 3port and tune how close will i get to 230? just trying to ascertain how much i'll gain from the spend on the turbo also for the lICP is it just the hotside that needs doing or both?

  9. all reports (and I mean ALL) say it's shitful when you push it. turn traction control and all the safety shit off and as soon as you take a hard corner the car sees this as an "emergency situation," turns everything back on and retards the throttle. basically kills all the fun every time and can not be overridden

  14. might be a 245/35 that's also reasonably common and will work but not quite as well as a 235/40... bombtrack is running them on his 9.5's with no hastles depends on the brand... with most jap rims caliper clearance is not affected by offset, rather by face

  21. yeah, there's that too i'd say that given drive ratio's and diff... evo's need slightly less power to be quicker in the lower gears.. i'd estimate evo 200 feels about the same as gtst 230... not to mention that in the wet i have 700 times the power now lol
  22. sure not 235/40? will look good man.... just be careful not to pull the front guards at all when you lip them and give the rears a good nudge from way up inside and they should both sit flush
  23. 2lt is not a problem at all birds... given the gearing and diff ratio, my evo has basically the same amount of lag and almost the same length powerband my 33 had feel free to drive it any time
