  13. move house call foxtel and arrange appointment - takes 1 week fox guy turns up.... informs me cant have cable as the dick next door cut the cable and fox arent' allowed to reinstall it. fox guy then puts this in system as "line of sight issue" meaning satelite is declined call foxtel and explain situation... no avail call foxtel and demand satelite... satelite approved, call back in 4 days call back in 4 days time... satelite pending approval, call back in 2 days call back in 2 days time... satelte denied due to line of sight. crack shits and demand satelite team to come to house - takes 1 week satelite guy turns up at a different time to when he was booked, calls me and explains that of course my house is fine for a satelite. advises me he will rectify situation and to call in 2 days call back in 2 days time... satelite approved - however still need to update address as satelite not cable. - call back in 2 days call back in 2 days... still not done... call back in 2 days call back in 2 days... done - satelite install crew booked. - this will take 2 weeks 2 weeks later, install guy rocks up... at 7 am... its a cable install guy, NOT a satelite install guy. call foxtel and ask WTF? foxtel advise me that my address is a cable address - not a satelite address. crack shits and tell them to change address to satelite. - advised this will take 2 days demand to speak to manager - same story. call satelite company, NOT foxtel... whole thing sorted out in under 3 minutes. - satelite guy rebooked. now waiting for him to show.. currently he is 2 hours late.........................................................
  14. either way... it's only 10mm difference, so realistically they will sit about the same, you will just have a slightly better concave
  15. fatter OR better
  16. either way will work for your car. RB26 sump is 5.5 lt (i have one in my gtst and I use 6lt)
  17. for a weekend toy that doesn't see track or a long time on the limiter i think 10w40 is definitely the right choice for an 83000 km RB26 the other choice i'd look at for a stock GTR is the penrite 10w50, motul 8100 5w40 or even turbolight 10w40
  18. lol wut? castrol edge is castrol edge. no changes there apart from the packaging for 2012 there is, but becasue something is 100% syn doesn't actually make it better. a mineral content has its advantages as well as it's disadvantages for you to notice this,: how is it driven? how old is the oil? what are you actually noticing? have you tested the oil? what does the oil look / smell like? you do realise there is a lot more to cold oil weights than ambient temperature yes?
  19. err, i THINK ou are forgetting the mighty RB20!!!!!!!!!!!!!! revs to 11ty and makes POWAH!! best engine EVAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! R32 for life yo
  20. at the end of the day, what everyone is saying is that the stock turbo simply cant flow enough for more than 200rwkw generally speaking they max out at 190-195 rwkw and that is running 14psi with a full ecu (more boost than is really a good idea with a stock turbo) a stock ecu will hit rich and retard mode when you go over around 10 psi and will pull timing out. this tends to limit the car to say 180rwkw TOPS these facts have been backed up 11ty billion times on these forums. what people are saying is that if the car makes over 200rwkw on a stock ecu with a stock turbo, then the "tuner" is fudging the results - which is simple to do. end of the day, does the car run fast? do you enjoy driving it? are you happy? if yes, then just enjoy it
  21. having had a 300rwkw 33 and a 34 with the exact same mods in my posession for a few months, i definately prefer the 33
  22. this.... is what I was getting at... as I have said, we covered this in every second thread a few years back
