  1. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/386659-e85eflex-and-oil-choice/ here ya go russ
  2. russ, we had a long thread about it in FIP. I use motul 6100 15w50 as it is desgned for LPG and has good moisture absorbing properties. to summarise what we worked out, you can use pretty much any oil if you change it long enough. if you dont want to change it after every track day dont use 300v a semi syn (like 6100) is a good idea as the mineral content will have good moisture absorbsion. esther based oils are not great unless you change them after every event, as they end up with the moisture seperate from the oil. there are specif oils that were reccomended, however i cant remember them atm.... i'll link you the thread when i see it
  3. you runnin longer studs with those slip on's luke or are we gonna see a repeat of that ueo 3 wheel drift?
  4. or just turn it round
  5. keep stock cooler... paint black... win at life
  6. sorry... i meant a 25mm spacer for the price of 4 x 25mm bolt on spacers + selling your current rims you wouldn't be far off varrstoens/rota/drifteks etc
  7. 25mm will have them directly in line with the guards.... however wider wheels will look better
  8. yes... a fair bit lower. i'm 6'5" and when i had GTR seats i still had room with my helmet (no sunroof tho)
  9. lol v8 RWD in the wet will always feel loose with a RWD when you hit 101% talent and the ass is hanging out, if you ease off the throttle you can recover it easily, whereas with attessa throwing it's bit in you can get thrown in the opposite direction very quickly it's like anything in motorsport, if it allows you to hit 100% talent, it will bite harder when you lose it, because you will lose it at 100%, not 95%. it's the same argument for not running semi's on your first track day. false confidence due to equipment can be just as dangerous lower spec'd equipment
  10. pfft... no we dont....
  11. who cares if kev dug this one up from the ages.... there is a post on p1 where jamie admits to liking veilside... not off to the vic wasteland to ruin his reputation for EVAH!
  12. i see's you still being active!!!

  13. i have hacksaw'd off a front bar that had threaded screws, didn't damage anything
  14. the number 1 thing to remember about DECA events is that out of the 50 entries only 10 or so people are actually trying to win, the other people are all just there to get sideways and have as much fun as possible in an environment that wont kill your car. Everyone stuffs up at DECA and everyone has a ball
  15. dont forget when you are actually driving a GTR @ 100% and it starts to get loose it can bite you a lot harder than a RWD car. many an R has been binned on track
  16. there's driving?
  17. i lol'd well played sir... 3 words public holiday rates
  18. in the 18" size you will need to pull the guards and remove the front liners if you want it to be low and look good. i'd suggest looking at 235/40 fr and 245/40 r the 19's in the same size will look worse, as 19's are too big for the r33 shell. 18's not only look better but are often cheaper and have a much wider variety of tyres to choose from for less money. not to mention that you get a little more sidewall with an 18 which make it easier to tuck and will give a better ride. i'd imagine a 19 will fit the same as long as you go for a rubber band tyre... once upon a time there was a thread about 22's on a 33 and I reasearched and drew up an incredibly accurate, scientific graph that represents R33 rim size. now what you will see here is that whilst 19's wont have you listening to feminem or dancing to richard simmonds, they are still considered to be mildly homo when placed on a 33. An 18/19 Stagger is probably the limit of charles bronson, however this is tough to pull off well.
  19. damn straight!!! I <3 DECA
  20. xtree... must have been nearly 2 decades since i last used that...
