So there was this block built off the plan in Sydney and it took 5 years to complete. In that time the value doubled and the scumbag developers used a contractual clause (contract dissolved if not finished in 5 years... intended for the purchaser to use, not the developer) to weasel out of all contracts and sell to new buyers at the increased value. A judge found in favor of the developer (as the case hinged on the developer deliberately slowing construction to exceed 5 years and this could not be proven beyond speculation) and everyone lost out. anyway.... and this is mainly for Birds....
