Hello Our Problem We are experiencing WILD power oversteer when exiting (as soon as any throttle is applied, not just lots of it!) tight slow speed corners - such as hairpins. My thoughts are that the rear diff is locking too quickly, causing the rear axle to just try and push straight off the track. Does any one else have thoughts/comments or seen simmilar issues with OS rear diffs? Have you adjusted it to tame it? If so - any details on adjusting it for circuit use?

Sard Injectrs And Tomei Rail Problems
Adam Kindness replied to Adam Kindness's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
my inj are about 6mnts old. Strange. -
Hello, Looking for some advice on the above fueling combo. I have a twin entry Tomei rail, and SARD 820cc injectors (lime). Garage phoned fee, fee emailed me so the info may be a bit skewed. The connectors on the injectors have been trimmed to allow them to secure on without fouling the injector body. BUT when it comes to fitting the injecors to the rail insitu the plug now fouls the rail, and tuner isnt confident the plug will stay if mounted the other way. Anyone come accross this problem, they must have as its a tried and tested match.

Website Opinions - Skyline Related
Adam Kindness replied to Adam Kindness's topic in General Automotive Discussion
The XS stuff was on the car when i got it... I've not heard good stuff through others, but i havent had any problems yet RIPS - I think its because its a damn site cheaper getting stuff like that from Rob. If others (Au, NZ) were advertising in our market i'm sure they'd get business too I get all my parts from Japan or out your way. Very little is ordered through UK companies... only small must have now parts really. -

features a fair few skylines.... last night at knockhill. Car was running sweet as a nut thanks to some weekend work from The Garage in Wishaw. Clutch was the weak point - but a new one is in the pipeline. Didnt take the car above around 0.8bar so it wasnt stretching its legs at all on the GT2860R's Some Vids: http://www.trackscotland.co.uk/vid/SOC/SOC001.wmv SOC001 : 58Mb - 13mins long. My girlfiriend took part in round 3 of the UK Time Attack Series..... the car was going ok in the morning..... clutch started slipping, got worse.... Its still drinking a hell of a lot of oil, its dropping to 5 ocaisionally and from after TimeAttack warm up it wasnt boosting properly. Time Attack. Fee did a 62sec lap in the warmup session, 65 in practice 1 with clutch slipping and boost probs. Last practice was 71 in pishing wet. She did a 70 in the final (i think) in the wet. The track was drying, so if she had of just waited towards the back of the pack she may have gotten a better time. I think she finished 17th in the Club Class pics Fee finished between the other 2 R32 GTR's in club class. more pictures here - trackscotland.co.uk :: View topic - Time Attack and EDC today Times - MSA results http://www.msttiming.com/attack/2007/73070.pdf Some vids from the Track Session in the Morning. hello, My car developed a wee problem whilst competing in time attack. Its stopped boosting as it should/was. Its an R32 GTR running twin GT2860-5's and Blitz SBC-iD III. The boost controller seems to be defunkt now, and the car is boosting (very slowly) up to aprox 1bar towards redline. I've reset the controller and tried new settings - nothing. I've had a quick glance of the BC pipes - nothing The car is running VTA DV's. Also worth noting the car has developed a problem idleing coming off throttle. (like a GTSt with a VTA DV). This has been occuring for a while though. It is also overfueling on and off boost. Popping and banging all the time any suggestions?

R32 Gtr On Track (pics & Vids)

the light vent is 'silk road' or racing. Do a google ma noogle search and it'll prob turn something up. Think the orig owner ( i got it in a swap deal with my old headlining) got it from Drag & Drift in the UK. -

R32 Gtr - Blue/white Smoke
Adam Kindness replied to Adam Kindness's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
yup... Its been found that the valve guides are worn. So i think its a combo of that and track work venting oil into the chambers -

Yep, thats Knockhill Quite a small twisty track for the big old skyline.... but its a fun wee track. The car is now competing in the Next round of TimeAttack at Knockhill. Valve guides were worn.... oil dripping down Getting fixed now though. -
R32 Gtr - Blue/white Smoke
Adam Kindness replied to Adam Kindness's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
so oil catch tank and seperator are the same thing? Plans wer eto fit one anyway... So you think this is just due to track foces/heavy breathing? Why would it continue to smoke after the pipework was emptied of excess oil -

Adam Kindness replied to Adam Kindness's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Nope... Who Where What When? I know they separate out air from the oil, but where do they plumb in, and how do they get oil back into the sump? -
Vids ( 2 medium hot laps in 2nd vid) http://www.trackscotland.co.uk/vid/hm/HM22062007_1.avi - InCar footage from R32GTR running 0.95bar, featuring Nova, Integra, Elise, Noble, Impreza, 911, kit car. The impreza seems to love racing on straights. Was behind him a few times, but he was running quicker on the straights but much slower on the corners LOL and http://www.trackscotland.co.uk/vid/hm/HM22062007_2.avi InCar footage from R32GTR running 0.95bar, featuring Cossie Saph, Rage Buggies x3, Mustang, Lambo Murcielago, Impreza, 911, ki car. Car was handlign well with its new front discs, but developed a horrible blue smoke from the exhaust... i hope its a turbo, not the engine.

hello, Looking for some extra insight here. I have a few ideas what the problem may be. I use my R32 GTR on track with very firm suspension and slicks. Its running twin Garret GT2860R's. I was getting reports of it smoking on track, and then witnessed it under acceleration. I have since tested the compression 150-158 accross all 6. I have stripped the IC off and poured a fair but of pretty shitty looking oil out. inlet front turbo intake side Put it all back together after a good clean up....no smoke.... couldnt see any smoke during test drive (up to temp), could not see any smoke at idle. Could not see any smoke (bar a wee black fuel puff) when pressing accelerator when stationary I then took it out later on in the day with someone following behind the car. Car up to temp with some 3rd/4th gear pulls showed it putting out some blueish white smoke. I've put my hand over the oil filler hole with the engine running, no real blowing. Ive had the breather pipe (cam to cam & cam to inlet) off and they appeared mostly dry, certainly nothing like the IC pipework. I'm running a Nismo oil pump and seeing 6bar on cold idle, and around 2.3'ish warm. I dont have an extra oil restictor in the turbo oil feeds. So..... what do you think it could be? Blown turbo seals (Turbos are aprox 2000mile old) Excess oil gettign checked through the breather on track? (i thought that this would have cleared after empting the IC though) I'm 80% sure it isnt rings, blow-by, or stem seals. The engine is newly rebuilt, 2000miles running 87mm forged Trust pistons.
