  3. nah up the road is where it would have popped, well when he lifted off the throttle to stop for the give way and the throttle body snapped shut. he only noticed when he went to take off from stand still at the corner cos he wasn't rolling anymore
  4. nah dude, his mum's been asking for you at least that hour long wait in the freezing rain sobered him up a bit before he dropped me home, thanks rod

  10. to be honest, it was just a quick job at big bucket to wash it on the way there and some tyre shine at the event (we were late entries, handed in the forms on the day) i put the glossiness down to the fresh(ish) paint, was resprayed in z-tune silver in japan
  11. ah that would be awesome ru i tried havin' a sus under your bonnet but too hard with that small a gap and couldn't see you about to ask for a nosey no plans for extreme as yet, i'm assuming you're already in? and cheers all
  12. a couple of lads asked me to throw up some pics from the weekend just gone, so here are some shots i am very grateful to the photographers for taking couple of final touches to the body styling i would have liked to have had done in time but still very happy with where it's at
  13. as per PM reply brendan, you'll have alot of trouble making them fit (particularly since i get the feeling you want to put them on the front - talking about clearing big brakes) if you are set on te37's get some 18x9.5+12's all round but be prepared to pay a mint as your pm suggests you want brand new ones
  14. darrin, do you knwo if there is a difference in diff mounts between the turbo and non-turbo r33 cradles? i know there is a difference in rear mounting points between turbo and non-turbo s14 cradles, make sure you get a turbo one if you buy one from a wrecker
  15. if you have hicas, and want to keep it, then you should be able to run an r33 gts-t rear cradle too. but i don't think you do as you said you have adjustable toe arms (unless you are running cusco drag rods or something? lol) only reason i went s14 is because it didn't have hicas. i used r33 half shafts though as my diff with 2 way centre is 5 bolt. all arms are exactly the same (lca, toe, camber and traction) pm me if you have any questions, it's a simple swap but i'm more than happy to help
  16. replace the intake side gaskets
  17. this is what i've ended up doing, went with an s14 cradle which is ~50mm narrower and has no hicas i am now running 18x9.5+1 on the rear with only 0.5degrees negative rear camber and have plenty of room between the strut and the inner edge of the wheel if i wanted to go wider this first pic is with the stagea rear cradle fitted, then the following is of how my rears sit now with everything changed
  18. they look awesome brian! just a 20mm spacer on the front, a little lower and you'll be set
  19. the thought didn't even cross my mind :S wish i'd known before buying more lol oh well
