  1. a throwback for the old schoolers and something to get the current guys pumped for it
  2. fingers crossed for ya bud!
  3. ff_driftz : tried to pm you in response to the post you left in the wheel fitment thread but it says you can't receive new messages
  4. you should be apples, Jase. my old setup was very similar with the narrower cradle (I was running 18x9.5+0 with a 235/40 and -0.5 degree camber). you won't be wanting any camber with the numbers you'll be trying to feed through the tyres haha
  5. the issue is that you are looking at an example of a car with stock pogo sticks. therefore in that example: - the height is standard, meaning next to no negative camber = more clearance - standard struts are skinnier than the threaded versions of height adjustable coilovers = more clearance pete used to run 18x9.5+12 on his rs4-s but had 5mm spacers behind them to reduce the amount of time the inner lip spent hobnobbing the struts
  6. I know people say this in threads a lot, but i honestly can't believe this is still for sale?!
  7. the only thing that would be helping him in this instance is the lack of rear camber from having the car sitting so high, don't forget he's running 20's and still has guard gap which means he'd have next to no rear camber and would create him a little bit of inner clearance, the wheels would be poking probably 25mm from standard guards though. it all comes down to your definition of fitment, which is subjective. personally i'd still be concerned about contact between the inner wheel and strut though with any weight/suspension travel over bumps etc. can you grab us a pic of how much room you have (with the car sitting on the ground obviously, not jacked up) to satisfy my curiosity? his rear would look pretty similar to this (18x9.5+15 with a 235 sitting at standard height) and, for reference, just to illustrate how the rear camber responds to the height of your car this is the same setup lowered
  8. they suit the red perfectly, but i guess it depends how you define 'fit'. i think you'll still run in to dramas with the rear, more-so the inner clearance - have you checked? only reason i ask is because we've all seen the tell tale marks of metal to metal contact on the threads of rear coilovers in these things from running ~9.5+15 when going over bumps (ie gaining more camber when the suspension compresses) and a 10.5+25 has 23mm less clearance, so those wheels would have to be sitting pretty darn close already.. as above, camber isn't an option with the little clearance he'd already have to the rear strut big +1 on the big brake kit!
  9. seems you don't quite understand how how offset and width are related, punch some numbers in to this to get a feel for it http://www.1010tires.com/Tools/Wheel-Offset-Calculator honestly, if you want the simplest option it would be to buy another pair of the 9.5+45's and run 25mm spacers all round.. then the final result would only stick out just over 10mm more than the current r34gt-r wheels you have on your car now.
  10. on the other hand, if you sold the 10.5's and picked up another pair of the 9.5's you could quite comfortably run them all around with 25mm spacers front and rear without having to put any work in to changing your car
  11. you 'might' get lucky and get the rear to work with a 7mm spacer (15 would be better to gain you some inner clearance).. below are pics of 18x9.5+0 all round, the car has an s14 cradle fitted (same width as manual stagea) with 3deg negative camber on the fronts and half a degree negative on the rear. the 20x10.5+20 with a 7mm spacer will have the outer edge sitting exactly the same but i've included a pic of the inner clearance i had - which is why i suggested a slightly bigger spacer as the 20" rim in more than likely to foul on the coilover spring seat/spring. with an auto rear cradle you'll be up shit creek. front will fit with a 25mm spacer, but i'd recommend something like 40mm or so to at least have them match the way the rears will fit. good luck.
  12. ignore the price http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/363109-
