  1. you're lucky you didn't post this on another forum or you'd be flamed something chronic the question of de-charging a factory turbo motor gets asked alot, and in short, the response is don't bother. the compression ratios aren't set up to run naturally aspirated and would be about as powerful as an 1800kg excel as for fuel consumption, it depends how heavy your right foot is, they generally aren't fantastic though
  2. have you decided on wheels yet?
  3. so you're agreeing with me?
  4. my mates car with my wheels 18x9.5+15 all round and 235/40's (so stick out 12mm more than the ones you are looking at)

  6. it is a nice looking axis you have yourself though
  7. in before lock i also have some wheels for sale there.. thanks for creating a thread for me to post in about them
  8. i had a full cage with one of those braces in one of my old s13's that car was setup for trackwork in japan
  9. stop wasting peoples time
  10. i'll pencil the date in for sure, if i don't bring mine i call shotgun adam
  11. still for sale someone buy them - bloody cheap for jap wheels in these specs and in this condition!!
  12. lol that's what i was thinking
  13. this is true
  14. each to their own i suppose
  15. i think people worry about running without driveshafts far too much. it is what every 2 wheel dyno place will do to dyno these cars what wheels are you running horrace? could it be the attessa kicking up a fuss at a certain speed if front and rear rolling diameter isn't close enough? would explain why it has gone away with the front shafts removed
  16. holy shit, no good nigel! you aren't having much luck with cars lately :S hope she turns up ok for you mate - i'm assuming you had insurance?
  17. what were you looking at? if you REALLY want them, but don't like how they sit you can always run spacers.. just remember.. true fitment is achieved without spacers!!
  18. it's probably pretty clear by now that my wheel fitement standards are a little more agressive than the majority of you blokes and that by my standards they really will look sunken to all buggery look at petes white rs4s a few posts back, the wheels you are looking at will sit 39mm in from them :S inner clearance will be about the same
  19. and another http://page11.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/n78679332
  20. looks like someone is in luck http://page5.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/e94950815
  21. s15 is no good? the pic i posted up there IS an s15 subframe. the bloke you sold yours to would have needed offset bushes for the stag frame to bolt up to his s13 chassis, the same as you need when fitting an s14/15 frame into s13 (because s14/15 and wc34 have the same mounting points) most of you would probably remember grant? here is his first hand experience of fitting an s14 subframe into his stagea http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Sp...ng-t216144.html
  22. i wouldn't completely write them off though, the part numbers could just mean minor variations and not that they won't bolt up at all if you have time, test some different ones out and let us know this is an s15 rear cradle in a rwd s2 (i'd imagine cradle mounting points would be identicle on all wc34's so should fit them all) they are meant to be ~50mm narrower than auto stag rear cradles (so similar width to 260rs cradle) but i'll get a mate to do some quick meausrements at his work if he has time (import wreckers) and post up what he finds between cradles if he can. keeping in mind a narrower cradle will need shorter half shafts and prob s14/15 swaybar too like i said earlier, this is my own research so don't take my word - look into it yourself before you go buying anything. i plan to try out the s14/15 rear cradle for myself at the end of the year
  23. you forgot the snow and the wolves
  24. well here's a pic of adams car (260rs) that i mentioned earlier to put in to comparison with the above pics, if it helps at all? 17x9.5+24 17x10+16 (+22 with 8mm spacer) and 225/45's all round
