  1. haha that post was made by the same person that started the thread
  2. handling > power any day of the week
  3. read the description provided by 'appealing' above your post in conjunction with the picture. it is a complex system
  4. strut brace does impact on boot space a little but i find that most things fit around it etc (sits up pretty much against the back seat anyway) and if you ever need to take something larger, it's 2 bolts to remove the bar - just leave the end plates attached to the strut tops
  5. ok same diagram as above but with some text
  6. haha that video is worth a watch too
  7. but in all honesty, you could have simply googled hicas, as i did to find this video for you *edit* ok how the fook do you embed on this forum?
  8. simple diagram
  9. unless you know for sure, i think you should stop misinforming people. the inspectors are not stupid. they know how to read serial numbers on turbines and are able to tell which motor they are originally from. they pick up on t28's on redtop sr's, but you don't think they'd spot a vg30 on an rb? sometimes you may get lucky and have it overlooked but at the end of the day it's an induction modification, it alters emissions and in their eyes it shoudln't be there
  10. wants to go back to rs4 and get a jetski
  11. and yes, coilovers too. anything to do with handling, i love it mm swaybars next
  12. for me, rear strut brace. end of story exhaust is always a good start though there's too many to list haha
  13. doesn't look like i'll be going ahead with a planned project car at this stage so got some spares up for sale rather than keeping them in storage complete set of series 2 lights with plugs etc $450 mint condition N/A grill, we've all seen how good these look eg chefs car, $100 take the lot for $500 also have a pair of cusco strut braces (front and rear) to suit s1 or s2 pics on request
  14. ^^^ i do love the look of black wheels but am of the opinion that if you are going to spend the big dollars on gorgeous wheels (the 2 option you posted are prime examples) why would you want to hide them by blacking them out?
  15. example of agressive wheel fitment sit the same as my vs-kf can i ask out of curiosity what wheels you are getting? i LOVE wheels haha
  16. LOL?!? they would NEVER fit 18x8+52? not to mention they are 5x100 ad stags are 5x114.3
  17. can't really help with pads but as for display, towards the top right there will be a box that says 'options' click that and set display mode as 'standard'
  18. i don't know about anyone else who has used an angle grinder, or if the stagea front bars are made of the same material as standard 180sx front bars, but the plastic melted with the heat from the cutting disk and made a stringy fairy floss like mess kinda cool though
  19. this isn't always the case. brake clearance is determined by disk type, particularly in wheels with dish
  20. dave, don't forget his rear wheels are half inch wider. i'd think it would be ok (without checking, which i have recommended he does himself) but i'll admit you'll know more about tyres than i ever will it also gets tricky if they are different tyre brands as there can be quite a variation in the way tyres bead up even though they say they are the same sizes
  21. sucks to hear mate, i know RSfour is selling the exhaust off of the 260 wreck he has - perhaps he'd let you borrow it for some bevvies or the likes?
  22. should be apples, there are stacks of tyre size and rolling diameter calculators on the net that you can use - check to see that the rolling diameter front to rear is the same and you won't have the attessa kicking up a fuss. it's generally just easier to run same wheel and tyre specs front to rear, which is why most people do it, but there is nothing saying you have to
  23. just to clarify, he's get away with the same sized tire in this instance as there is only half an inch difference in rim width but the rule of thumb for attessa is same overall rolling diameter
