  1. i want to see what they did to the rear though, that's what ruins these wagons most for me
  2. and to add to ^^^ might have something to do with the attessa system linking all 4 wheels - i'm going to assume you need to lift the front wheels too to be able to spin the rears? could be wrong though as i've never owned an awd car
  3. made sure you weren't in gear too? the more severe cases of wheel bearing failure can be diagnosed by rocking the hub in and out from the centre of the car but it doesn't sound like you have this
  4. a filter should never need a socket to be taken off - if you need this addition then you are doing them up too tight!! if, however, you do get a filter that has been over tightened all you need to do is stab a screwdriver through it to get some spinning leverage - a bit messy but beats cramped hands and lots of swearing haha
  5. oops kinda missread the original post there will always be a little oil left in the filter even if you've drained the sump but not enough to worry about? to answer the q about oil coolers: they're fine for everyday use but be careful you don't run your oil too cool. ie if it's just a daily and you live in a colder climate i'd advise against it as the oil needs to heat up to thin out and work properly. a few of the guys i know that run oil coolers on daily drivers put bags over them in the colder months of the year to prevent air flow through it and then take them off when it heats up
  6. sounds to me like you've still got a rubber seal from an old filter on the block - the rubber o-rings can be left behind when you remove a filter so make sure that you take it off if it didn't come off with the filter. if you've still got an old o-ring on (without knowing) and have put a new filter on with its own o-ring then this will more than likely cause a leak. i'd check this before wasting money on a relocator at this point - it's not like the filter on them is exactly hard to get to..
  7. in case you overlooked it adam, the stock susp won't fit the rear of your rig or maybe they aren't for you?
  8. i'd dare say he'd be more concerned with distorting the roof etc with excessive loads than bending bars
  9. indicators must show orange when operated, which is why factory are tinted orange and clear ones use orange globes. the smoked ones are forwned upon because they reduce the orange and brightness. smoked look pretty average anyway - go clear
  10. my old wheels are still here and taking up space 18x8+23 all round --> sit the same as r34gtr wheels do on stagea fronts have brembo clearance so great for 260rs also no tyres $800 in adelaide and just for clarification, even though the specs of all 4 wheels are the same, the fronts have less dish because they are high disk and have better caliper clearance
  11. i've not actually seen it out and about but RBPOWA is correct when he said that it's just been sold. my mate was looking into buying it maybe we should contact the old owner to let the new owner about this/us
  12. this is wanted to buy not parts for sale
  13. ^^ haha shit yeah
  14. ^^^ yup that rear bar is dayz, it's an adelaide car if you look closely, the dolphin bar has also had n1 slots fitted mine with dolphin grill fitted - still reckon i prefer the N/A one
  15. ^^^ pretty much hit the nail on the head
  16. few more details in here, including adams number http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/St...Sa-t257799.html
  17. also, if you're not fussy on bar thickness/design then you can get the cusco AS style brace slightly cheaper than the OS model
  18. with the current exchange rate you're going to struggle to get a new jap one for under 300, and second hand (when/if they pop up) for under 200
  19. it belongs in both the cool and lame category it's your car and if you want to do it then who gives a toss what anyone else thinks
  20. absolutely adore the car but it really needs some better wheels to fill out those guards
  21. does that pic work for anyone? lol it's not working now
  22. i dig the n/a grille
  23. doesn't particularly matter, for reference my fronts are currently at 320mm and rears at 310
  24. bit hard to see but this is a pic off the dolphin site http://www.freeway-dolphin.co.jp/aeroform/...ea_c34mc-bl.htm
