  1. separation is never a good thing.. now to choose between 1 and 2.. hmmmmm
  2. i'm known as anti-myspace-mike.. (same applies for facebook) you guys will have to keep me up to date on msn haha
  3. i think the biggest problem here is that everyone is freaking out because they don't know what was said, people have jumped to conclusions pretty quickly and are freaking out - i didn't over hear the entire conversation BUT we noticed the undercover car parked on the street first which was joined by a marked car shortly before they approached us. from what i heard them say, they came to say g'day because one was less than impressed by a thread dedicated to him in this sa section and he was pretty annoyed (understandably) as i've said before it's the hero's ruining it for us all - not just those that think they can impress people by ripping a skid at a meet point or on a cruise but also those that act tough behind their computer screens. it's just snowballing really, that thread should have been locked down and the members warned/banned by the mods for police bashing but it wasn't and was left to get out of hand - now we've all gotta face the repercussions of some random douche. we are all tarred by the one brush
  4. spose we'll just have to wait for the reply email and see where everything is at in their/neils eyes. would be good to post up the email sent to them too once we get a reply
  5. i'm hoping this is the case but unless it is in writing it's nothing more than hearsay. i'm all for working with the police, just don't want to see them crossing lines that are already blurry between helping us and helping themselves. i'm surprised sundays event has caused such a stir in the scene though, if you were there you would have understood that it was quite harmless - at first there was some aggitation from the police in response to the abuse thread a month or so back but after a talk through with kell and the others a simple (i quote SIMPLE) check was done, advice given out on 'dangerous issues' and we were let on our way to enjoy our day. it could have gone MUCH worse and many stickers handed out. the idea put forward about charity cruises goes down well in my books and i'm all for donating to any worthy cause - whats a few bucks here and there anyway? most of you can afford to put your foot down for a quick squirt and waste some fuel so i'm sure you can spare the small change in your centre consol.. if not more
  6. yeah you may have to take the front bar off although thinking about it you may be able to get them out without needing to - there are a few nuts inside the engine bay behind the rad support holding parts of the lights in but i;m not 100% sure
  7. the box that runs 'into' the depth of the page on the left of the light if you need stagea ones i have a spare pair here
  8. the ballasts are mounted up to the inside edge of the headlights, if i had my spare pair here i'd take a pic give me 2 secs and i'll find one for you
  9. cheers pm sent my thoughts exactly
  10. remove your roof lining - it's pretty self explanatory from there
  11. or if you're talking about the vac line then wolverine is correct
  12. i don't really see the issue with police being notified unless they step over the line. it was mentioned earlier about ns.com cruises - police are notified about the official hardtuned events (the large ones) and generally speaking things go smoothly except for those that do the wrong thing ie speed i think the popping of the bonnets yesterday was pushing it but at the same time everyone chose to be there and it's no different to if someone had of been asked to pull over individually and pop the hood if you ask me i'm not much of a 'cruiser' but it is nice to catch up with and meet people that share common interests, would be a shame if it went completely underground
  13. i really dig this pic, a mate took it yesterday on the sa stag cruise
  14. oh well, i'm just happy i caught one ruby - was well organised and a fun day cheers again
  15. i'm not 100% sure which tube you are referring to but if it's the one that runs from the rocker cover to the intake pipe, it's there as part of emissions to run the blow by (oil vapour) back through the combustion chamber
  16. yeah i thought about that as i put them up (can see a few are whited as i know some people prefer it) then gave up
  17. couple more that didn't seem to upload with the first lot
  18. here's some pics pete and his nephew took on the camera they borrowed from me, will upload the pics from my girlfriends camera tomorrow
  19. +1 for anxiously awaiting pics and vids
  20. and for a tripple post, ps thanks kell for talking/negotiating an outcome that left everyone happy
  21. same to you ryan, not aimed at anyone in this thread - just a little annoyed that i had my plates taken down for the loose mouths on some of the other members that use this board
  22. sorry, that's not what i was saying sled. the police mentioned they turned up because of a thread slagging one of them a month or so back. too tired to type.. just saying some of the other members on here make it harder for the rest of us
  23. the stag cruise could have ended with a number of stickers but didn't, the police were understanding and were only there to make sure we were doing the right thing. the funnisest bit was that they turned up because of all of you guys that sit tough behind your computer screen and fire your mouth off at them - no need to be a hero and ruin it for the rest of us!
  24. awesome day for a great cruise, the slight delay at the start ended well for everyone - great to know that they are willing to assist us in future gatherings good to meet a few of the other adelaide stag owners too, appologies to the small group that basically ended up at newton again - brenton swore we were going the wrong way
  25. willing to sell them without the tyres?
