  1. coz teh bov's have always been crap apart from teh stock one.. unless you after BLINg.. woshhhh fart etc.... stock's the best.. spend your money on a more worthwhile upgrade kills the fuel eco .... unless you have a safc 2
  2. settled down for a h1 55W artic blue one by navra... seems pretty good... as white and bright as i wanted it to be. and from a distance it looks bright but not blinding
  3. yea just got my narva ones..artic blue as well.. actually I got my mate's plus 50 tried it on mine.. even though the volume and temperature is more than that of the artic blue i wasnt too satisfied.. it still gave out the stock yellow look... so opted for the artic blue instead..and its not bad at all.. this is not to say that i wont try the plus 50 in the future agian.. after all they are a good $15 less than the artic blue ones.
  4. plus 50's well not looks like the best option.. where did you buy urs from?
  5. sighh.. well will wait on a few more opinions.. and if noting.. yea mate.. hid's may be in.. 6000K
  6. so essentially we cant do nothing for an upgrade? even if it were cheap??
  7. oh they arent? Damn i was on the lookout for a cheap upgrade as well.. and since HID's are not legal then the stuff from hidplanet doesnt make sense either.. sigh.. the things is I got 55W phillips globes on now and they aint way too bright and wayy too yellow for my liking. Ive heard that the phillips blue vision doesnt serve the purpose either
  8. okay thanks for that... you reckon the xenon 100W halogen lamps wont melt the headlight lenses?
  9. http://www.aerpro.com.au/list.php?pcode=AP...o=&cat_sno= that's the wiring harness adaptor that we can use for connecting aftermarket head units to the factory loom...dont know what its priced at though..
  10. adding strength to the dash console ? is that needed? am not too sure.. but with you on the stickers. gross me out. And they shouldnt leave too much of a mark.. i had mine for 3 weeks or so and they came out cleanly when u apply even force throughout. Whatever of the glue is left can be removed either with acetone or sanding it out with 400grit
  11. also was wondering if 100W xenons would melt the headlight lenses? Are they too high? and what is the limit on the temperature on them for a s2 r33?
  12. hey am looking at getting the xenon hid kits off ebay? Are they worth the price? around 150 bucks they r.. And they dont look too hard to install.. or are they?also are they legal in sydney?
  13. no it wasnt included.. ive got an ipod FM transmitter anyways so it serves the purpose.. besides the aux in port is in teh rear for this one so bit of a bitch finding a good place to dock the ipod. still i reckon its worth the price without the ipod cable.. if i am not mistaken u can get them off ebay for $35 for so.
  14. you got any pics of your bonnets?
  15. looks like the normal afterburners to me.. anyways.. i got one of these dash kits as well... HAD rather( a mte bought them didntr like it and sold it to me for $20.. i wouldnt pay him more.. the cheap bastard that i am:P)...btw he paid $150 odd for it and here;s how it turned out.. the pics look much better than it actually is.. ripped em out coz they completely sucked!!!! i mean.. stickers??? for the skyline??? eeeeks! .. went to supercheap... thanx to another thread on this forum... bought all the materials for $30.. and here are the results..a champagne finish.. pics were taken inside teh garage at night.. so excusez.. to all 'yer ppl.. the stickers..the real thing.. quite a difference i;d say... its last me over a month now.. no scratches.. no effects of heat et al.. no offense samantha.. but i felt this was the real bet.
  16. lol buddy welcome to the club.. i got the very same ones and there's zilch improvement. thatz am returning them tomorrow and will get a 100W xenon off ebay or something..
  17. you dash's got chicken pox mate? anyways here r a few pics of mine.. not too bright.. if you want i could take pics in the day and post em up for u.. they are a champagne color that I picked up from supercheap..
  18. you need to do a bit more to get that award steve... watday reckon go into the s2 r33 foglamps? H1 as well?? supercheap reckons so.. but we all know how reliable they r...
  19. thanks again steve. no confusion at all..! cheers.
  20. xenons wont fit into a s2 r33?? :blink:// lol thatz what my entire discussion has been about.... sigh.. the xenons i got are from supercheap.. they said it should fit..
  21. awesome! thanks for the help mate! Read all about having to toast the headlights to rip them open ANd then shove in the globes.. sigh bit of a relief that it wasnt true . and thanks for the fantastic explanatory pics
  22. thanks heaps for that steven, also am assuming that to take out the headlight globes i have to twist n take them out as I had a look, and that's how it seems they'll come out. ?? and also so both the normal beam globe and the parkers are in wedge shaped holders eh? only the high beam ones seem to be plugged in straight..
  23. okay now i am confused.sorry, I thought parkers were the globes that turn on before you turn on the main headlight. The main headlight globes seem to be enclosed in a wedge shaped holder. and the high beam headlight globes somehow seem to be matching the stuff i got from supercheap. So in a bit of a muddle mate. Am attaching the H7's i got .. havent exchanged for the H1's yet., but let me know if these are for the high beam or for the normal headlights. Thanks Steven.
