JustCars Just told me my car will take another week to repair. I am both angry and depressed. It's been the longest two weeks so far, now they move the goal posts again. I see Skylines everyday and i get more upset because i don't have mine. Is there a Skylines anonymous or some sort of group therapy, i need help.

Yeah, i thought about this too. My car is not that fast, but still a money pit. I thought about getting a bike, but i know i would die riding it, no bullshit! So keep the GTR, get a bike and go do track days. They can be heaps fun and safer than doing 250kph on the road. Maybe think about sorting out a better job or improving the finances somehow. That's what i did, now i feel less like crap when i spend $80 to fill the tank. MY 2c.

I was going to buy one but decided against it. The main reason being not many people in Brisbane want to help you. I looked high and low. I got plenty of "yeah we will give it a go but it's not our preferred ecu". The prices on them are awesome though, sliding performance were going to sort me out. I wish you the best of luck, BTW CRD in NSW are among the best at them. My research did reveal that.

Heard from JustCar today, $4000 damage. Should be fixed in 2 weeks! Wooohoooo! Not as bad as i thought, suspension, alloys, tyres, panel and one tail light to fix. Happy times.

Yeah, i still havn't heard what the verdict is. I do have the option of buying the wreck if they write it off. It's probably not as bad as i think, should hear today. If not i'll call and chase them up.

Fair call dude, the Z-tune is superb. I just don't see the sense in modifying a Nur. Maybe it's coz i'm shit poor and couldn't afford the airfilter for it. I'd love someone who knows prices to actually estimate how much the parts he wants to put in would cost.

If i had this car i would cry sweet tears of joy everyday! I would not molest it, leave stock. Buy yourself a 32 or 33 GTR and butcher that. Race the crap out of it and then no worries. Keep the NUR clean, the way GOD intended.

+1! I know this thread is dead, but for anyone in future interested. I have first hand experience with this. My R33 gtst auto made 165kw at the wheels. In a straight line she was awesome! One day one a 90' left turn, sun totally blocking my vision, misjudged the corner, she decides to gear down and hit full boost, 13 psi. I sh#t myself and she goes sideways. I miss 3 poles by a miracle of GOD and bury it in the sand 50 metres from the corner on the other side of the road. Rear diff stuffed, hicas stuffed, left rear quarter stuffed amongst other things. Bottom line, high powered auto on bends = bad news for inexperienced driver. BE CAREFUL GUYS, PLEASE!

Yeah, stay away. I have a friend who runs in those circles and they don't like "rice rockets". But if you want some excitement and keen for a "new experience", go.
