  1. fwiw when i slapped in my rb25 box it made sfa difference. You most likely wont notice. Sticking large wheels on or a new diff ratio has more effect on changing the speed from memory
  2. dunno if this might help: http://justskylines.com/knowledgebase/widg...calculator.aspx
  3. some bs rumor of a mod that was floating around years ago....i cant see the point of removing coolant lines just because other cars u cant see them.
  4. Maybe because of the age of the lines, or becoming blocked? What would nissan not know that you do? This is about as far up there with mods such as filling the chassis rails with foam, or looping the battery fumes into the intake...
  5. If you split, interested in N1 HEAD LIGHTS N1 BONNET LIP
  6. all good. search function is useless. I knew that thread existed, so its easy to find if you know whats been asked before
  7. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Di...mp;hl=shim+diff If you read cubes reply, he shimmed the r32 diff.
  8. Ideal is whatever would pull the most air through the radiator. but make sure its shrouded. Not a lot beats the std setup, but thats only because the std cooling uses a shroud. Nice setup btw.
  9. rings were put in the right way?
  10. being for the 300zx, are the boxes the same internally? If I was to do a service using that manual, are the clearances the same?
  11. you bleed both. I think you do master then slave...(forgive me its been a while since ive done it)
  12. i think i had a pdf from years ago, but cant check for a few days...ill look next week when i get access to my old pc.
  13. I was afraid it would be pushing the 300, cheers...
  14. Epic bump, but better than starting a new thread... Anyone know how much an rb20 long motor with manifolds and turbo on would weigh? Need to get one shipped on a pallet, so im thinking if i said 300kg that would be about right? Any help would be great.
  15. Insurance could be agreed value. If hes listed the skyline for a couple more than its worth to cover the small pieces then he could get some money back if something ever goes wrong. With a car thats targeted you should have full comp insurance. Wont get everything back, but in the real world you wouldnt get all mod money back if you sold it either...
  16. Feel for ya. Best thing is to remember that it is insured and can be replaced.
  17. I know it wasnt, just wondered if rad32 had forgot / knew to line it up to make it easier for himself when he goes to put it all back together...*which isnt happening Im lazy as it is, so doing less for me is a bonus.
  18. drove mine around daily for a long time. It was softer and easier to drive than the brass button extreme thing the previous owner had in the car.
  19. Ah, all good. Why is the head off then?
  20. ouch, have fun then
  21. GL with that...im never doing that again unless i pull the whole motor out first. BTW, is that motor at TDC??
  22. engine out job
  23. What brand of bushes are the best these days? Not everyone wants to fit new arms, just replace the rubber with something that is of good quality for street or track.
  24. If theres a problem in there now, such as the cats collapsed, or the std 2.5" flanges are still on the cat then there might be a small improvement
  25. Skim reading, missed that it was spot welded in. If you can get someone who will do a good job, and protect your interior, then welding it would be the only option. I dont know if you can see the spot welds from under the car, because id remove trim around the welds, and tack weld the pedal back from under the car with someone holding it in the right spot inside the cabin maybe?
