  1. Because ive asked him twice already, and the reply was www.realestate.com.au Thats why im here asking if anyone knows someone with a property to rent.
  2. thats what would be ideal...friend of a friend...
  3. shouldve made it a poll.. myself - 3,725 posts (3 per day)
  4. Anyone know of someone with a rental property near Collonades shopping centre? Preferrably on/near a bus route. The landlady has been nice enough to give my mrs the "You need to be out by June" then turned around today and said "ive listed it for sale now, so get out" deal... Just wondering if someone knows of anyone down south that could help us out. Pm me if u know anything. Please dont suggest realestate.com.au as we know about it already, and looking, but we're also trying for other "alternative" methods...its much easier if u know someone these days
  5. lol...u guys make me laugh a bit. Start simple and have the turbo looked at first. It might just be an oil seal. If its not then get the compression check done. An engine refresh should only cost around $1800 odd + bits (oil, filters, etc) but dont start thinking down this road till u do the simple things first. Every time someone posts smoke from the motor theres 50 posts -"Oh noes, go for the forged 500rwkw rebuilds" Skylines (and other cars in general) dont like sitting for a while either
  6. someone to organise fine details, booking and making sure there are enough people to follow through
  7. r32 + rb25.....well.....3lt preferred
  8. They have and slapped a second defect on my old car in the past.
  9. According to the ADR's the exhaust is supposed to be tested with them standing on the side of the road at a 45 deg angle with u driving past at a set speed. Go ask them to show u in the ADR book how it says to test. Not with the sound probe up the exhaust like im guessing your was?
  10. All skylines sold would have "defects" in the eyes of regency, and even brand new cars from holden would have defects, so it doesnt matter that she bought it 2nd hand. In your logic all car yards in Adelaide would have defectable cars for sale. She got defected by a motorcycle cop. Traffic police are there to look for defects. That time of the month then eh?
  11. What media player are u using? http://www.free-codecs.com/download/Windows_Media_Player.htm
  12. Maltec http://maltech.com.au/home.html do ADR braided brake lines that are coated as well to stop the stainless braid to cut through suspension parts it it may rub on. They have the ADR numbers stamped on the collars. If u did get them, its doubtful if regency would accept them anyway if u had an inspection done. K&A motorsport can put slots on the rotors, or drill.
  13. Sounds like his only option would be Nissan. Not many mech diff plates would be interchangeable, unless nissan sell aftermarket ones themselves. Try a diff specialist and see what they say. Boss automotive Cubes reckons know their shit, and are way cheap than others.
  14. U and paully need to re read the post. she mentioned as well as suspension, which would mean regency. Consumer affairs wont help with a refund as the car was in working order, and are not obligated to refund as the car working order when she bought it. They dont know where she was, or what she was doing when defected.
  15. the pits refer to the pit they make u drive over for an under vehicle inspection. As far as getting it sorted, your pretty much in a self dug hole. Your lucky you got so far with the car yard. Buying a modded car to start u knew that it wasnt std, so u shouldve taken it on the chin and gone to regency and got it off defect. It wouldve costed a little, but im sure if u took it to Shaun @ Boostworx to get it back to std he wouldnt leave the car running like sheit. All i can suggest is if the car is running, and std, take it through regency. If it doeesnt pass, get the problems fixed until its off. Then go see Shaun @ boostworx, and tell him the problems about the car and see what he says. You will have to spend a bit of money now to get it running and on the road. I think u have cut all ties with the caryard now anyway so dont bother going back...
  16. advertising whore...1 cheap deal and u sell your soul
  17. If its not close to std, be prepared for a few trips back.

yes but a remap is a remap. If u want to add a bit of fuel here, of take some timing out of here, u need to pull it apart to flash it. Not very tweak friendly if u are fussy and like your fuel economy. A quick tune for the pfc for me means a hell of a lot less ($$ and time) than a quick tune for a chipped ecu

Thats a full tune (or near enough), a quick setup tune is usually cheap as u want it.
