redline is a quick fix. It will give the feeling of better changes, but nothing beats a gearbox service. I'll be stripping mine with cubes and his spanky 12 tonne press and doing bearings and getting the syncros looked at. Should cost all of $150ish for bearings from cbc. Syncros...well for a full set including all parts your looking around $500 from nissan.

33 box is fine for most power levels. Next step up would be a os giken gearset. Do a search in the driveline section, it has all the upgrade options. Imho if u need anything more than the 33 box is capable of, then u should consider not driving it on the street.

on the track i hope Syncros cant be upgraded, just rebuilt. Higher 5th is achieved by lowering the diff ratio +1......+1

ill be machining a groove to suit the legal std height in the bilsteins i have in the car now. If the springs in there now wont suit, ive got a set of std height springs i will be slapping in anyway to take up the slack.

They are illegal due to something to do with the factor of them in a crash. Vents are illegal if they chop the panel reinforcing inner, if they dont they must have mesh fitted to stop fingers going in. They can face anyway. Cops will defect on sight, regardless if they are illegal or not. Painting them is a waste as the wank factor of having a cf is to show it off in the first place. The r32 gtr bonnet weighs the same anyway, and is aluminium as u know. The best place to get one is to stand outside regency and wait for someone to come through whose sick of being defected and wants to get rid of it fast. How many cars do u see normally driving around with one? Theres a reason

u will bust the clutch pedal box too. Mine went, plus cubes and madaz have all had ours break from heavy clutches.

ceramic and button clutches imho are horrible for shopping centre carparks, slow take offs, and general city driving

Ive got an air compressor now, so using the air tools should be easier

The rb25 box in the r32 is a tight fit, and yes u have to spin it as well to clear the starter hump then rotate it to fit it. Cubes and i did it in the 2 hrs he said. I have a clutch align tool (needed for the Os twin plate i have in) and it slipped the box straight in.

steering rack in rear has been removed, or if it is still there and u think its locked, then it may have 2 shims under the rack rubbers.

Get it on the dyno to check the tune and decide on what mods u want in the future. Pfc is always handy to clean up afr's and timing

depends how far off your tune is now. A good tune will help in power and fuel economy obviously..

yer i dont think that much of it. To some it might be just another FPS. My pc runs it sweet, UNDER XP ONLY. Good thing ive kept xp and vista dual boot still. Dont get me wrong it works and installs in vista, but theres heaps of vid problems ive had in game. My pc specs- x2 3800+((2.4ghz), 2gigram, 7900gt, a8n32, 74g raptor etc etc...this runs it up all max settings fine with no lag. But i have heard others with 8800's have to turn down some lighting effects, so who knows... If your not a hard core FPS player, id say dont bother.

Arnt they supposed to have proof of the speed travelled? Ie show u on the radar what speed u were doing, and report it then and there? Might be time to find a good lawyer etc...

from memory the end inside the car has a cap inside the end which is spring loaded. If u were to remove it u may end up farking it in the process. Might be best to take the cable out and give it complete to the person putting the metal ends on.
