  1. *my personal opinion A car with a good tune would put out less emissions than the car when its std. Trouble is they require u put out below or at the std limit using the std emission equipment...
  2. lol the pic they show looks the same as the gtr one Mine has the 4 bolt on the end to go to the diff, but the rb25det slip yoke attached to the other end..oh and mines painted black...
  3. as i understand it, any thing that changes the emissions of the vehicle is illegal.
  4. These are very light and fluffy
  5. I run a 1 piece alloy one in my 32 gtst. It goes from the nismo gt pro diff to my rb25 box. As u said its a straight line, so no need to worry about angles. No where near as bad as say commonwhores. Mines great, weighs fark all (u can pick it up with 1 hand), and have had no problems at all with vibrations, or noise. Anyone who knocks em hasnt had a properly balanced shaft in their car.
  6. no no no... keep a box of these on the passenger seat, and it will distract any attention from the rest of the car.
  7. Fear not my Doughnut loving friends. Cry not that we dont have our own Krispy Kreme clone like the other states... For I have discovered the holy grail of goodness is within our reach.... ************ Ok so i was having lunch in town @ the city cross and they got this great yiros place, and next to it was this doughnut place that sells glazed ones, choc ones, stuffed ones - like apple cinnamon, blueberry, raspberry, key lime pie etc... They are exxy, but damn worth it IMHO. Around $2 each for a single one, or $18 for a dozen of the same, $20 for a mixed dozen... ok enough talking PICS PS- Dont lick the screen, and this sh*ts like crack
  8. Cubes had his pfc fixed by force electronics. Try them, but if your screen is stuffed u might just need to buy a new hc.
  9. Cubes had a local (in SA) electronics shop repair his pfc when he fried it (accident) Any good electrical repair store should be able to test and repair
  10. ignitor pack and or coil packs. There are no ignition leads in a skyline
  11. errr..no?? The tie rod ends (or rack ends as u are calling it) just need to suit the thread size of the tie rods (rack arms).
  12. nice jig
  13. dont forget the hair gel, the sunnies, and various poses in front of or around car. Oh yer - add fully sick to most sentences.
  14. I questioned the guy in the store as they origionally gave me the 12mm and i needed the 14mm ones... They are the same part. If u look at em, its just the hole tapped out from 12mm to 14mm...
  15. errmmm no. That is a mulloway, or a jewfish if your interstate Being from whyalla, ill forgive u thinking a big fish is a schnapper
  16. sounds familiar...
  17. side by side, my motor runs my rb20 pump, and cubes runs the 25. I noticed a while ago when cold mine seems to run at a normal pressure, where cubes' motor ran a little higher. I think running around though they are the same...
  18. Yer i went to Kmart yesterday to get a 50s pack of dvd+r, and was looking at what they had available... TDK is a brand i always favoured, but @ $51 fer 50 discs i thought bugger that... Looked over and they had the Vertabim 16x DVD+R for $32, so thats where my choice went. Ive had dodgy $2 shop type discs give to me before to use, and the gold was flaking off within 6 months... Ive got vertabims here from back when i had my pentium 100 and they are still readable
  19. lightened flywheels arnt all that they are hyped up to be either... U know your getting old when u mod your car and once u hit a certain pont it feels more like it belongs on a race track than a daily driver... On/off clutches, cars that dont idle, or sit in stop start traffic aint fun to use as a regular transport some days... *goes back to sit down in recliner with slippers...
  20. nulon coolant or tectaloy seem to be the best, and dilute it to the recommended amount. People who make it stronger are kidding themselves thinking it will work better, when it doesnt. If u wanna be a nut with the service, change the thermostat as well. genuine nissan are much better (compare the spring to an aftermarket item) Ive never had trouble using genuine thermostats..
  21. add the cost of the tailshaft modding...and if it comes with a slave cylinder or not..
  22. Dont forget a coolant flush and change
  23. Are u talking about the fan itself or the clutch it sits on? the fan - they all bolt up the same, but it has been said the rb25 fan is better designed (pulls more air?) with the clutch - the only one that is a direct replacement is the rb30et one. It is the same as the rb20/25det clutch. Rb30e clutch shaft that bolts to the water pump is longer and thinner from memory...not much, but enough to not warrant using it...
  24. I installed rb74's with gtr calipers in my r32 and it made a noticable difference. I used the copper grease, with new std anti sequal shims and it doesnt squeal hot or cold.. My usage is mainly street with a small amount of hard breaking every now and then...
