rb20s dont blow head gaskets usually... no coolant in a bimetal engine = easy head gasket to blow... ask me how i know Easiest tell is the ol radiator cap off with the motor running, and watch the bubbles *goes back to fixing the mrs laser mumbling "should be working on the line..."

mines got a slight whirr when hot or cold...comes and goes. Been there since new, and im not fussed as i know its @ correct tension. Some belts are just noisy...

over tension on the belt itself? more photos of a) the underside of the now broken cam pulley b) shot looking into the newly created hole where the cam pulley was Did u do the work yourself? history of motor? may have just been abuse from its previous owner/s....

My cas was farked at one point. It would hold timing nicely then once on boost loose power. Turned out the cas was farked, and once it hit boost it would just pull all the timing out, hence not making power. Cas was fixed and was fine

It wont say that you're immediatly at fault, but you will be at fault to a certain extent for just being on the road to start with. We all know u wont be in a car crash if u dont get in a car to start with Im sure if any insurance company chose to, they could dispute any matter, as they will always have enough money to spend on a court case than u or i would even consider. Every case is different, so yes your friend may have been let off in the past, this case may swing in totally the other way...depends whose insurance guy has had a hard day There probably wont be much the r33 could say other than he failed to give way.

u need to get the transfer case off and have someone weld it up, which would be a costly exercise. Might be more $$ than fitting a r33 2wd box which has almost the same strength as the gtr box...

550cc rx7 squirters are known to cause a bad idle on the rb20 with the std ecu. Pfc have no issues with it. I run them in my 32 (with the 3lt though) and have no issue with idle or bad fuel economy when running them with the pfc...

x3 utorrent. Its damn fast, and has a search engine in it. For going avi to watch on dvd i use cucusoft...pm me if you want to know how to use the full version... Its a simple program u add the avi u want to burn, select dvd, vcd etc...then u just click convert and it'll convert and then burn it all in 1 hit...

Just thought id show off by saying im posting this while im using a Ubuntu live cd... This looks better to me than upgrading to Vista fer my needs.... *waits tilll dx10 comes then does the inevitable jump fanboi ship I think im gunna have to dual boot Ubuntu from now on. I need to format my pc now me thinks anyways, so might be the right time... Ill run Xp for games only, and run everything i need through this GUI. That is untill i need to use something that only needs Xp again dammit... Do i have to reformat to FAT32 instead of NTFS when i go for this dual boot idea???

Cubes and Trident offered you their opinion (based on their experience, never said my real world experience), and you replied I was simply asking why you got snappy at people who offered their opinions. No need to try to defend anything. I personally dont care how many turbos Bill has installed, good for him if he cracks 1 million of em. Calm down stress can kill.

Go back and re read the thread. I said - You got grumpy yourself the post before i replied with the above. You need to sit down, think about what u want, then ask advice. Be prepared for others who have travelled your path before with conflicting advice to what u believe is true... People here speak from real world experience
