  1. have a look here and find something to suit your budget in Adelaide. http://www.realestate.com.au/ What kind of work are you looking for exactly? There are plenty of places that can help u find employment as well...
  2. lol...im hoping the wont pick on something thats larger
  3. taken as a pun for the "Just dont get defected" comment
  4. Just dont get broken into...
  5. maybe it would be better to organise a few things as per the rules of posting a GB : Group Buy threads must clearly state the following: 1. Start and end date for the group buy - No more neverending group buys! 2. Clear details of the product/s on offer 3. The price being offered and if possible the normal RRP 4. The company that is supplying the products for the group buy 5. Where the products can be collected from - or 6. Associated costs for delivery 7. Where possible, please include a photo of the goods being offered This way u might find more people would be interested to begin with...
  6. AS it states, i just need a dead one, dont care of its condition. I just want the green sticker to be in tact. Lemme know what u want fer it. It has to be dead -AKA im not paying $70 fer a dead one, cos i could get a working one for that.... Let us know if u can help a brother out
  7. U were actually one of the people i remember being picked on about it My car has been through before and it wasnt picked on then, but i dont wanna take any chances...
  8. I was running it off the rb20 base map to start, then we flashed the pfc over to the rb25 base settings (which work better) and we had a play with the datalogit adjusting : as well as something else to get the load points down to a tunable resolution. dont ask me specifics, i just pay fer the tunes Cubes may remember exactly what we did...
  9. I was maxing out the q45 with my 3lt at only 200rwkw. (ran out of load points) I had to get hold of the datalogit and increase the resolution of the afm to be able to tune it properly. Its a common problem.
  10. Ive seen 2 members on here get told to have it fixed. Im being as picky as i can in hopes they let me through on the 1 go. If i get all things fixed now, i wont ever have to worry about anything in the future of me owning my car...
  11. Im thinking Regency will be...normal...and pick on anything, so im gunna get the slight damage done to the chassis (where the rails bend up to go into the engine bay) fixed. Has anyone here had it fixed before? Where abouts? I can weld (Im ADR approved - certified for my last job ) so can i do it myself??
  12. Bosch 044 218rwkw Mounted in tank in std location No issues, or noise at all, only a buzz on hot (32 deg. + days) no starting issues, or 1/4 tank bs.
  13. wouldnt the extra effort of finding a special belt make it worth the small hassle of drilling it and getting the belt everyone is using?
  14. care to elaborate how not to get caught?
  15. easier said then done. I was pulled over @ 2:30pm in the afternoon on the way home. Not like i was cruising down hindley with the stereo up.
  16. i got done for 30mm on the front and 10mm on the rear.
  17. Welcome to the club Yes i agree with stripping it back to std and im going to make sure ive gotten under and checked every bush in my car myself. They dont have to find 3 things, its 1. The copper that defected me showed me his book with each item showing where they have to send u to clear each defect (so he knows how to fill out the damn form more like) Suspension (too low as i got done) is a VIS -Regency only. edit/ if it was me id be filling out a complaint (ask cop for his badge number and name) as he sounds like he was being a prick. The guy who defected me was ok, so i dont have a problem...
  18. If i ever did my engine bay piping over id be going v band as disco says to help save some space. As well as this it provides a full 360 lock vs the normal gasket / flange seal.
  19. Usually its the solenoid on top that fails first though. If it keeps doing it, just slap in a 2nd handie fer around $50
  20. Cubes and myself had Chris Milton do our rb25de heads. The usual deshroud and a 3 angle valve job (ask cubes for details) as well they didnt polish the inlet to help the fuel / air mix properly (or something like that). It is a damn good job done (ive got pics somewhere), as Cubes and myself dont have to run as much boost as some to get good numbers.
  21. cut the buff coloured gtr cog off and glue on the r33 red speedo sender cog. Make sure u give it enough time to cure properly as it could come off again...
  22. sometimes this can be as u described the starter will overrun. A simple solution is to grease the shaft which the cog runs up on to engage the flywheel. (remove starter and look in the end ) Try that and see if it goes away
  23. 14v for a running motor is fine. It will go down to around 12v though after a short time when running. Check the alternator output as wilch and blind elk said. It shouldnt cost too much to have it rebuilt, or just buy a new one.
  24. mein Wang ist das größte und ich kann trinken Lose
  25. Someone has posted before if u pull them out and soak them in hot water it will restore them to near new condition. Someone try it and tell if it works
